The meaning of the word "chinara" in Latin is "wide." The name is obtained thanks to wide branches and large, maple-like leaves.

Cultivation

This tree is grown most often for the purposes of greening parks and streets. Planting on the plot is undesirable, since it will cover the entire area with a shadow, depriving the rest of the plants of light. If the site is huge, the thick shadow of the plane tree will become the favorite resting place for dozens (or even hundreds) of descendants.

Growing a tree is very easy. He needs three things: heat, sun, water. The only difficulty is the temperature. If the temperature drops to -15 - the tree will stand. However, at -25 it will die.

Reproduction

Those who know what chinara is, they know and how it multiplies. This happens with the help of cuttings, seeds or root shoots. When used in planting seeds, they must be kept dry. Before you lower it into the ground - soak in a special solution. Experts advise planting seeds in the spring in a firm ground and in the autumn - if the earth is loose enough. It is important to know that in autumn the depth of planting should be at least half a meter.

To seeds have risen, they must be moistened in a timely manner. The sprouts that appear should be hidden from the sun, which can damage children. In 12 months the seedlings grow to about 50 cm.

The use of the root can give an opportunity to get a tree quickly enough. The process should be separated from the root in autumn or spring. After that, they are planted in a permanent place. It is desirable to mulch the earth with foliage or sawdust.
