The diet, whose menu is calculated on the basis of blood type, is very popular today. In general, this is not a diet as such, but a food system, which is recommended to adhere to an unlimited time span (a week or a month), but your whole life. Only in this case, according to its creator and developer D'Adamo (a dietician from America), competent compatibility of products by blood group will bear fruit in the form of health, beauty, harmony and longevity.

In his book, the author of this food system puts forward the theory that at the dawn of its existence, mankind, engaged in hunting and consuming only animal proteins, possessed only one, the first blood group 0 (I). In the process of evolution, our ancestors also learned farming, thereby diversifying their diet with plant foods. Because of this, the second blood group A (II) appeared. Taming of wild cattle led to the enrichment of the menu of ancient people with dairy products and the appearance of a third blood group B (III). The youngest blood group, the fourth AB (IV), was formed as a result of the combination of the second and third, and for reasons not yet discovered, so far. However, there is a suspicion that this mysterious group is not yet the final point of evolution in the blood.

Does this historical background for creating a diet the right to exist or is it no more than the fetus of the imagination of an American nutritionist, we do not know. Food products by blood group 0 (I)

If your blood belongs to this group, congratulations, you are a born "meat-eater". And yet you must have (does not mean that there is) a powerful immune and digestive system. Your food system should contain a lot of proteins - they contain all your strength. Eat with pleasure meat (except pork), fish and seafood, as well as fruits (not sour) and vegetables. With cereals (especially with oatmeal), be more careful. It is better not to look at white bread and other wheat products, but rye bread, buckwheat and legumes - eat, but not very much. To wash down all this food with advantage for an organism you can green tea, drinks on the basis of a dogrose and with additives from a linden, ginger, mint. Neutral for you are beer, red and white wine, tea with chamomile. But what exactly to eat and drink exactly does not follow in any way, so it's cabbage, corn, ketchup, marinades, strong alcohol and coffee.

Products by blood group A (II)

The owners of this blood group are "farmers", who should practice vegetarianism (not to be confused with veganism). In addition to vegetables and fruits, you can sometimes afford dairy products (sour milk, low-fat cheese), but in limited quantities. Ideally - go for soy milk and bean curd. Eat legumes and fish (except herring, halibut, flounder, caviar and seafood). From drinks, green tea, coffee, red wine, juices (pineapple, carrot, cherry, grapefruit) will be useful. But black tea, orange juice and soda do not need you at all.

Products by blood group B (III)

If the blood test showed that you have this particular blood type, then according to D'Adamo's classification, you are an omnivore "nomad". At one of the stages of its evolution, ancient people traveled a lot, eating both meat and milk of sheep, goats and cows, as well as what was at hand suitable for food during their wanderings. You can eat meat (except poultry and pork), fish (not seafood only), eggs, milk and sour milk products, legumes, cereals (except buckwheat with wheat), fruits and vegetables (except pumpkin, tomatoes, corn). Feel free to drink green and herbal teas, juices (cranberry, pineapple, grape). Limit consumption of coffee, black tea, wine, beer, orange juice. Avoid soda and tomato juice.

Products by blood group AB (IV)

Since this blood group is a consequence of the merger of the two previous ones, you are recommended a moderately mixed diet. For this, it is necessary to take into account both the strengths and all the weaknesses in the nutrition of groups A (II) and B (III). Approximately it looks like this. From meat you are useful for turkey, rabbit and lamb. Fish can be everything, just do not eat seafood. Milk, sour milk, soy curd tofu, olive oil, nuts (walnuts and peanuts), cereals (except buckwheat), fruits and vegetables (except Bulgarian pepper and corn) is all you can afford. In a moderate amount, eat beans. Drink green tea, coffee, beer, wine, drinks based on dogrose, hawthorn and with additives from chamomile, ginger, ginseng, mint. But about the products of wheat, red meat, bacon with ham, sunflower seeds, tea with a linden you better forget.
