Ever since childhood, each of us has heard about the benefits that carrots bring to the human body. It is rich in vitamins, microelements, it contains carotene and many useful substances. Thanks to its rich "inner world", carrots promote growth, favorably affect eyesight, is used in the treatment of avitaminosis, cardiovascular diseases. In general, carrots - this is a miracle-vegetable, which must be eaten every day. But how can this be explained to the children? And here a variety of recipes come into play, including carrots. To such tasty and useful treats it is possible to carry and cookies from carrots and a pie carrot.

To make a pie with carrots we take: carrots - 300 gr. (About 2 glasses), 200 gr. Margarine (you can also butter), a glass of sugar (preferably brown), 3-4 eggs, flour - 300 gr. (About 1.5 cups). Also a bag of baking powder, salt, optionally walnuts , hazelnuts or almonds.

We start to prepare a carrot pie. To do this, take the raw carrots and clean it and grate it, preferably on a fine grater. We take the eggs, we separate the proteins. Add yolks to carrots - stir. Whisk the whisk in a separate bowl to the state of strong foam and while we leave it on the sidewalk. Melt the butter or margarine, add it to the carrots, there also pour out the sugar, a little salt and baking powder for the dough. If the baking powder is not at hand it was not possible to replace it with half a teaspoon of soda extinguished with vinegar. The resulting mass is mixed. Sift flour - it will enrich it with oxygen and make the dough more airy. Pour it into the same bowl, if you add nuts to the dough, then grind them and put them here - all the time, we mix. The final ingredient is whipped whites, inject them into the dough very carefully, stirring from the top down, this will help to save more air in the dough.

We put the mixed dough on a baking tray or a split form, covered with baking paper or greased with oil and lightly sprinkled with flour.

Put the container with the test in a preheated oven. The temperature at which the carrot cake is prepared should be 150-180 degrees. Somewhere in an hour the pie will be ready. Determine the availability can be a golden brown crust or with a puncture toothpick. If there is no dough on it, then our pie is already baked.

The carrot cake is ready for use. But you can also turn it into a cake, making an uncomplicated cream of sour cream with sugar or whipped egg whites with sugar and lemon zest, and then cutting the carrot biscuit into 2 cakes and greasing each with a prepared cream. From above, carrot cake can be decorated with any chocolate or marzipan figurines.

You can also try to bake a carrot cookie. The recipe is very simple and the cooking process itself does not take much time and effort. For carrot biscuits, we need: carrots, shredded on a fine grater (1 glass), butter (100 grams), sugar (half a cup, and a little more), flour (350-400 gr.), Eggs (2 pcs. ). We will also need a soda vinegar (1 tsp) and a pinch of salt.

Carrot wipe on a fine grater. We rub the butter with sugar and mix it with carrots. We mix everything thoroughly. There, drive eggs, salt and stir. In a bowl with the received mass we sift a flour in which we pour out the disintegrant or vinegar vinegar soda. Knead the dough. It should be homogeneous and soft.

Grease the baking tray with oil or cover with baking paper. From the dough form the gingerbread and add them to the baking tray. If you have popular now silicone molds with different figures, then spread the dough into them. Before you put the cookie in the oven, it needs to be warmed up well, to about 180-190 degrees. At the same temperature, bake our biscuits for 20-30 minutes.
