Working with parents in the DOW is a necessary element in the child's upbringing

As you know, the personality is formed in society. And the first collective that meets a person on his life path is a family. Unfortunately, parents can not always give enough time to raise their child. There can be many reasons for this: from lack of necessary knowledge to lack of time due to constant work. To some extent, kindergartens help . The teacher plays an important role in the upbringing and development of the child. But, alas, work with parents in the DOW is not always carried out. Often this leads to the fact that the two most important institutions in the life of the child (family and kindergarten) are divided. In many issues there is a misunderstanding, shifting responsibilities to each other. Meanwhile, this can not be allowed. Even at the legislative level, the need for interaction of preschool institutions with families of pupils is fixed.

The forms of working with parents in the DOW can be classified in several ways:

  1. Informational and analytical.
  2. Cognitive.
  3. Visual and information.
  4. Leisure.

Let's consider each direction in more detail. Work with parents in the DOW should begin with an analysis. The educator first needs to get acquainted with the families of his wards, find out the details of the relationship, understand what the atmosphere there reigns. This will help the survey, observation, parent meetings, conversations.

The cognitive direction includes the following points:

  1. Providing parents with the necessary knowledge of the optimal methods of upbringing and development of children of this age group.
  2. Providing the teacher with information about the achievements of the child and his failures.
  3. Involving parents in educational activities.

For this purpose, this may include working with parents in kindergarten: consultations, open days, joint activities of children with parents, creative homework, involving the participation of someone from adults, excursions, seminars and trainings.

Seeing the results of the activity of the teacher through the results of their child's activities, they are much more willing to make contact. This is the function of the visual and information direction. Therefore, in any group of the kindergarten, exhibitions of creative works and photographs illustrating the life of the group are simply necessary. Also, the parents' corners are successfully used to solve cognitive tasks. Here you can tell about the proper diet or daily routine of preschool children, about a healthy lifestyle, and notify about upcoming events.

Equally important is the leisure time of children. Working with parents in the DOW also includes a variety of recreational activities in the group. Inclusion of parents in the preparation of the holiday will help them get closer to their children. They will be able to see what the little one is interested in, what worries her. Children with pride will participate in games with their parents. In the group you can start your own traditions and celebrate not only the general holidays (New Year, March 8), but, for example, every birthday.

Of course, working with parents in the DOW requires careful preparation and huge expenditure of effort, especially at first, when parents are still "lapping" to the caregiver or to each other. But the return will certainly follow. And in the end, close cooperation between the family and the preschool institution will lead to the formation of a new personality that will feel comfortable and confident in the big world.
