What is included in the list of goods that can not be returned

The Consumer Protection Act provides that the buyer can return or exchange goods in the shop where he was purchased. The conditions for carrying out such a procedure can be several: color, shape, size and so on did not fit.

However, not all purchased goods can be exchanged or returned to the retail outlet, if they did not suit you by any signs. There is a list of goods not subject to return approved by the Government Decree. It consists of such items as any medicines, as well as those that are applicable at home as a means of treating illnesses in terms of prevention. This includes any items that a person uses to maintain personal hygiene: combs, hair clips and hair bands, as well as toothbrushes, wigs and the like.

The list of goods not subject to return and exchange includes any acquisitions that are purchased in meters. It can be linoleum, carpet, film and the like. There are also a number of items that can not be returned:

  1. Perfumery, cosmetic products, as well as underwear, socks, stockings and tights.
  2. Household chemical goods, as well as pesticides and chemicals, which are intended for use in agricultural work.
  3. Precious metals and articles thereof.
  4. Any technical complex products, with the purchase of which is issued a warranty card.
  5. Cartridges, civilian weapons and their components.
  6. Plants, animals and prints.
  7. Cars, motorcycles, bicycles, ships and other water vehicles that are used in everyday life.

It is quite understandable that the list of goods that can not be exchanged and returned includes exactly such items. After all, if desired, they can be spoiled at home in a way that no one will notice with the naked eye. And then, when the goods fall into other hands, it can harm both health and human life. And then there will be more serious consequences.

Remember that the list of goods that can not be returned can have some modifications that depend on the specific state.

In order to be able to return the purchase, it is necessary to take a check from the seller. It confirms the authenticity of the purchase at this outlet. The check can be either knocked out on the cash register or filled by the seller by hand on a special form containing the seller's signature and the store's seal.

The list of goods that can not be returned is irrelevant if you made a purchase on the market. It will be very difficult to prove later that your purchase is made in this outlet. In this case, it is best to immediately negotiate with the seller that you will return the thing if it does not suit you.

According to all the criteria, all products that do not meet the quality standards can be conditionally divided into three groups:

1. Products with certain shortcomings are goods that have any deviations from normative documents and from information that exists about this type of product. If the buyer observes a defect within the warranty period , he may demand:

  • Reduction of the price in proportion to the degree of damage;
  • Free repair of the defect in a certain period;
  • Reimbursement of money costs, which were spent on troubleshooting.

Note that such goods are not subject to mandatory exchange.

2. Products with significant damage. In this case, this defect must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Elimination of the defect will take more than 14 calendar days;
  • It can not be eliminated at all;
  • The goods become different due to the presence of such a marriage, rather than the one described in the contract.

3. Counterfeit goods

All products that fall into the list of non-refundable goods must be regulated by each outlet. And the shortcomings and their elimination should be provided for by service.
