First the cherry blossoms blossom in the south of Japan, and then the entire country is covered with soft pink and crowns, like clouds. Closer by April, the flowering process ceases, and the trees shed faded petals. The last with blossoming cherry blossoms is the island of Hokkaido.

Copying method

Japanese cherry - sakura - is a classic theme for art works, the tree is depicted in both original form and in the style of surrealism. Readers of this article can also try their hand at drawing an Sakura branch. We will tell you how to draw a cherry branch in stages, we will follow the whole process of creating a picture. To create, you need a sheet of white paper, a pencil, an eraser (eraser) and a little patience.

We offer two ways how to draw sakura, the first way is to simply copy the image that you see on the attached photo. The technique does not guarantee a good end result from the first attempt, since in the absence of skills it is quite difficult to copy the outline of the drawing precisely . However, if you make several samples, each time your drawing will look more like the original, and after a while you will achieve the goal.

The second method makes it possible to depict the cherry blossom branch with maximum accuracy. The method of copying is to transfer the contours of the branch, as well as the flower petals, on the surface. Each cell contains one small fragment of the original pattern, in our case - a drawing of a branch of a cherry blossom. This method allows you to copy the picture in a scale of 1: 1, as well as in any other scale. You can decide how to draw cherry blossoms, and what scale to apply, on your own, but first you should try to draw a picture on a standard A4 sheet measuring 210 x 297 mm.

Pencil drawing

Take a photocopy of the picture of the original drawing and draw it with lines intersecting at a right angle, so that you get a grid - 9 cells in length and 6 in width. Then draw a sheet of A4, on which you will draw a cherry branch. To fit on the sheet 6 vertical cells and 9 horizontal, you need to draw a sheet of cells 3 x 3 cm in size. The lines should be drawn with a thinly sharpened simple pencil with minimal pressure, since all the lines forming the grid will subsequently need to be removed. The lines are erased using a conventional eraser. After the sheet is drawn, you can start working. How to draw sakura, to make the drawing look like the original, you will read in the second half of this article.

You can clearly see the location of the sakura branch in the cells on the original drawing you have drawn. How to draw sakura in stages, it is already clear, you need to copy the cage behind the cage, one fragment after another. You can start drawing from any cell that contains a fragment. Find the appropriate cell on your sheet and copy the first fragment, trying as accurately as possible to repeat all the bends. Then copy the next fragment, followed by one more, and so on until the picture of the branch is complete, but so far without flowers.

Contours

When the branch is drawn, you can start drawing flowers. As you can see in the next photo, the cherry blossom has five petals, several stamens on thin stems and pestles. All this is easy enough to draw with a simple pencil of medium softness, for example "Constructor - 2M". Initially, draw a contour of the flower with light pencil motions, without pressure, since any unsuccessful stroke will cause you to erase the already drawn and repeat the attempt. Only when the contour looks perfect, you can circle it with a pencil again, already with pressure. So, the contours of the branch are transferred to a sheet of paper, the flowers are also drawn. How to draw sakura in stages with a pencil, you already know. The photo shows the cherry branch as an image or as a symbol, in fact, the branches of the Japanese cherry are more spread out in nature and there are countless flowers on them.

Coloring

To make your drawing look like a real Japanese cherry, you need to color it. How to draw sakura in colors, you will learn from our further recommendations. First of all, you need to choose how you will paint the picture. You can use colored felt pens, this is the easiest and most affordable way of coloring.
