Step 2. Now we start drawing the outline of the outer petals. They are almost closed and one side is overlaid on the other at the junction, resembling a tuxedo collar.

Step 3. Next, draw a contour of the bud center. The small inner petals are tightly twisted spirally.

Stage 4. The next ones begin to draw a contour of middle petals, more unfolded, enveloping the bud - inner small petals folded into a dense cocoon. Their upper edges are bent downwards. The wrapped edge itself is uneven, along the entire length it is necessary to draw notches. Here are such as in the second figure.

Step 5. Now it is necessary to draw a contour of the outer petals that go from the base of the flower and give a round shape to the whole bud. The inside of the pink bud can be seen, since it is these outer petals that are revealed when the rose blooms. Throughout the bent edge on the right petal, you also need to draw evenly the notches.

Step 8. Now you can start hatching the rose. Note! You need to shade from the center to the edge. The petals in the center of the bud should be darker. Outside - lighter.

Step 9. You need to shade evenly, from a darker area to a lighter area, the center should be darker. For additional contrast and texture, it is necessary that the light areas coexist with the darker ones.

Step 10. Shade the entire rose completely. Please note that the strokes must lie only in one direction. This will allow the image to look beautiful and harmonious.

Stage 11. Finally, you can now shade a fragment of the stem and sepals. On the stem, the strokes need not be applied as if they were on leaves.
