Types of figure in women and men

There are no people with the same physique. All people are different, even the models on the podium, the dimensions of which are close to the ideal standard, differ from each other in their addition. However, some common typical features of the structure of the body exist. Thanks to this, scientists have identified certain types of human figures, which are variants of the norm of its constitution, i.e. Structure of the muscular and bone tissues. In turn, the physique features are indicators of the stable biological, constructive and functional characteristics of the human body as a single system. The types of the female figure (as well as the male) depend on the hereditary predisposition, so they can not be changed completely, however, a small correction of the physique in childhood and adolescence is possible.

In the scientific literature, there are three main types of the structure of the figure. The first of them is hyposthenic (or asthenic) type. People with this physique, as a rule, are tall, look thin and fragile. Due to the increased metabolism, they are very slow to gain weight, hence, have a low fat content in the body. Women and men hyposthenics externally angular, the muscular relief of the body is poorly expressed, the chest is stretched, the shoulders are narrow, the limbs are thin and dynamic. Women with these types of figures are similar to boys. They have narrow hips, weak chest, thin, long but proportionate arms and legs. Possessors of such a figure can be envied in the fact that they practically do not gain weight and remain slim throughout their entire life. The appearance of signs of obesity is possible only with a sedentary lifestyle, and to lose the accumulated kilograms enough to sit on a diet.

The second type of constitution is normostenic. Such people are proportional, well built. In men, the shoulder belt, a broad chest, a thin waist and narrow hips are clearly developed. Types of female figure are more dense than asthenics, addition with developed muscle mass and strong skeleton. Well decorated chest, thin waist and wide rounded hips make the women of this figure very feminine. Often it is compared to an hourglass. It is difficult for women with this physique to become thin and fragile. All kinds of diets and starvations in this case help little. To properly reduce weight, nutritionists recommend that normostenics rebuild the diet and at the same time strengthen the muscles with suitable physical exercises.

Hypersthenic types of figures differ in rounded wide forms. Very often people with such a physique have excess weight, respectively, an excess of fatty tissue, which accumulates due to a weak metabolism. Even with a slight excess of calories in food, hypersthenics begin to recover quickly. Still it is possible to allocate such characteristic signs, as growth below an average, a short neck, wide hips and the big breast at women. Most often, people with a similar physique neglect sports, and attempts to reduce weight, as a rule, are limited to various diets. However, in this case, instead of dieting, it will be more effective to change the entire food system.

You can also select other types of figures that differ in the manner of accumulation of fat in the body: android and gynoid. The first is compared in shape with the apple. Most often these are types of male figure. They are characterized by excess weight in the abdomen and chest. The second - looks like a pear shape, as excess fat accumulates on the hips. Gynoid types of the figure, as a rule, in women. This is due to their hormonal characteristics. It is very difficult to change such proportions, since fat from the thighs is always more difficult to remove than from the stomach. Women with similar problems are encouraged to build muscle tissue on the chest and shoulders to look more harmoniously and proportionately.
