Grigory Leps, whose biography began in the city of Sochi, was born on July 16, 1962 under the sign of Cancer. His father, Victor, a Georgian by birth, worked at the local meat processing plant as a rubbish, and Natella's mother worked as a nurse in the Sochi polyclinic.

True, Grigory himself saw him for the first time in the hospital ward, when he was hospitalized with a stomach ulcer in the Botkin therapeutic department. The artist also saw positive moments in his long hospitalization. The disease relieved him of 35 kilograms of gained weight. After discharge, Grigory stopped drinking and drugs.
