The cult Soviet TV series "Eternal Call" (actors: P. Velyaminov, A. Rogovtseva, V. The role of Ivan Saveliev played N. Ivanov. Ivan Saveliev became a very real image of a Russian man - open, brave, selfless. Able to break through for himself for the sake of the Motherland, Ivan, during the war at the front, was looking for a meeting with Fyodor, in order to look him in the eyes, into the eyes of the traitor of the Motherland, the traitor of the family. Ivan, despite his family ties with Fedor, kills him. Nikolai Ivanov most accurately played the role of Ivan Saveliev.

The role of Anna Kaftanova went to A. Rogovtseva. Anna was the daughter of the rich Kaftanova, Ivan was in love with her, but Fyodor, who later became her husband, only wanted to be related to the rich Kaftanov. Ada Rogovtseva is quite capacious and accurately portrayed the daughter of a rich man, and later - the faithful wife of a not quite faithful husband.
