"Eternal Call": actors of the best Soviet epic

The cult Soviet TV series "Eternal Call" (actors: P. Velyaminov, A. Rogovtseva, V. Spiridonov) tells about the life of the most ordinary Soviet family - the Savelyevs. The events described in the film cover the period from 1906 to 1961. That is, the film tells the story of the fate of three generations of the Savelyev family, who visited three "wars". It:

  • Revolution and the Civil War.
  • The Great Patriotic War.
  • Restoration of the destroyed economy.

The painting "Eternal Call" (actors spoke about the project in the following way) is a film about love and betrayal, human selflessness and cowardice, meanness and devotion, duplicity and fidelity. The film became a truly epic work, although it was shot based on the novel of the then famous writer and publicist Anatoly Ivanov.

Structure

The epic epic consists of two parts, the first of which totals twelve episodes and begins with the fact that Demjan Imyutin and Pankrat Nazarov return to Mihajlovka from the Russian-Japanese war. Soon, Demian becomes the manager of the local rich man Kaftanov. The first part of the epic story ends with the news that the war is beginning in the village. The second part of the epic begins with a description of the military events of the winter of 1942, as well as a story about the fate of the Saveliev brothers at the front. In total, she has seven series.

Creators of the film

Above the picture, a whole team of specialists worked, and the fact that it came out truly amazing, their full merit. Directors of the film project were Vladimir Krasnopolsky and Uskov Valery. Screenwriters of the series are Isayev Konstantin and Ivanov Anatoly. Operators - Vladimir Minaev and Peter Emelyanov. Artists - Nikolai Markin and Vladimir Kirs. It is worth noting that the creators of the series were awarded the USSR State Prize, and it was issued exactly for this work.

The brilliant play of actors

Fedor Saveliev played Vadim Spiridonov. Despite the fact that according to the story of the epic epic Fyodor becomes a policeman, in fact, a traitor to the Motherland, he does not lose his human and high moral qualities - he is honest, just, he is tormented by remorse. But while fleeing with Lakhnovsky (a former investigator of the tsarist police, now an abberwer lieutenant), he does not abandon his counterpart, who sprained his foot, to the mercy of fate, but helps him to get to a safe place. The opposite of Fedor can be called Lakhnovsky himself: he literally sifts with promises of all the blessings for Fedor, if only he saved his useless little soul. It is worth noting and the fact that Fedor went to the front not from his personal convictions, but he tried to escape from the confusion in his personal life. Vadim Spiridonov showed his most brilliant play to Fedor Saveliev, a simple young peasant with his weaknesses and virtues.

The role of Ivan Saveliev played N. Ivanov. Ivan Saveliev became a very real image of a Russian man - open, brave, selfless. Able to break through for himself for the sake of the Motherland, Ivan, during the war at the front, was looking for a meeting with Fyodor, in order to look him in the eyes, into the eyes of the traitor of the Motherland, the traitor of the family. Ivan, despite his family ties with Fedor, kills him. Nikolai Ivanov most accurately played the role of Ivan Saveliev.

The role of Anna Kaftanova went to A. Rogovtseva. Anna was the daughter of the rich Kaftanova, Ivan was in love with her, but Fyodor, who later became her husband, only wanted to be related to the rich Kaftanov. Ada Rogovtseva is quite capacious and accurately portrayed the daughter of a rich man, and later - the faithful wife of a not quite faithful husband.

Ratings of the series

According to contemporaries, the epic film came out brilliant. The film "Eternal Call" (the actors who played the main roles, were far from politics) did not look like "propagandistic". The directors showed the shortcomings of the early Soviet power, all the minuses of the reign of the tsar and the Whiteguard government. However, along with the shortcomings of the "red" power, the filmmakers also showed the advantages that the power of the Soviets carried to people. In the epic film, human relationships are most clearly shown. Reflected and human vices: envy, duplicity, meanness. The fate of a small village is shown, in which quite large "passions" are played out.

Conclusion

The film "Eternal Call" (actors, their characters, the whole crew was very popular in the USSR) turned out to be unique. The film, despite the fact that it was shot in the second half of the twentieth century, is of some interest to the current young generation. The main factors for the success of the epic epic can be called a realistic plot, a brilliant play of actors and dramatic events. It is impossible not to mention the novel, which was used to make a film epic, because he was genius in his own way.

Summarizing the above, we can say with confidence that the "Eternal Call" is the greatest work of Soviet cinematographers, worthy of attention at all times.
