How to choose the right material
Despite the fact that the modern manufacturing industry offers consumers hundreds of types of this building material, vinyl siding is particularly popular. It features low cost, low weight and easy installation. In addition, a rich range of "vinyl" includes imitations of wood, stone and other natural materials.
And before siding the house with a siding, it will not hurt to walk through the building shops: perhaps you will find the "same" option that you have always dreamed of.
Getting Started
The liberated walls should be checked for flatness. If you plan to mount the siding directly on this surface, you will have to align it. But before sheathing the houses with a siding, one should not forget about one circumstance: this material becomes more durable if it is attached over a moisture resistant base.
In short, practice clearly shows that you can do without leveling in the rarest of cases. In all other cases, a crate is used, which is assembled from a bar with a section of 40x50 mm or high-quality boards of 100x30 mm. You can use slats made of solid wood 50x80 mm. In all cases, nails are attached to the walls of a tree, the length of which is 100 mm.
Since it is not easy to sew a log house with siding (the complete absence of even walls affects), it is advisable to check everything once again before starting work with a plumb line.
Between the end of the first panel and the angle also leave a gap of 5-6mm. If you are thinking of sewing a house with a siding (the price of the process depends on the cost of the material) in winter, then this gap should be increased to 9-10mm. The fasteners are driven in at a distance of 30-40 cm from each other.
Keep in mind! Screws or nails must enter the siding strictly at right angles! If you do not comply with this rule, then in the future the panel can simply swell.
So you found out how to tidy the houses with siding!
