If we add to this the significantly strengthened right and conservative forces in European countries (first of all, in France and Germany), the progress is seen as irreversible, in 2017 it is unlikely that they will cease to develop.

Center of gravity

The value spectrum of the entire western part of the world has shifted dramatically, as right-conservative, populist and nationalist waves have made the mood of the society much more diverse, adding completely unexpected new tones. Protest moods appear even where they never existed, in countries for which it is completely uncharacteristic. They write about the "color revolution" beginning in the United States, about the abrupt change of regime in the countries of Western Europe. World politics is gradually becoming unpredictable, filled with new events that have not yet happened, and phenomena that need to be comprehended.

The center of gravity of the entire world political system is clearly shifting. The Asian countries are becoming stronger, the specific weight of China and India has risen exceptionally. Therefore, the main intrigues of this tectonic shift in politics will unfold, most likely, in relations between China and the United States. The economic crisis that has engulfed the world is hard for the countries-leaders. The people of the United States are gripped by the general disappointment in the policy of the ruling party. That is why the Republicans won such a convincing victory over the Democrats, they obtained the majority of seats in the House of Representatives and increased their representation in the Senate.

Policy internal and external

Trump's victory is important not so much for domestic politics as for the outside. Israel is already clearly inspired, China is concerned, the rest of Asia is upset, and Russia is making guesses. To China is much possible a much more rigid position - the weakening of the yuan to the inability to maintain its own currency. It is very possible to support the Afghan war. Republicans are also concerned about the deployment of the country's missile defense system.

It seems to many that the stable position of America in the world has been shaken, and world domination has already practically lost it. Is it so? The president of Russia and the diplomatic corps are very cautious in their assessments. And in fact, remember the year 2010, when "WikiLeaks" revealed and published many tens of thousands of documentary letters from America's diplomatic pouch. It seemed - well, everything, the end of power. But nothing happened with America happened. Allies, even in every possible way substituted, were not lost. Enemies also stayed where they were, new ones did not increase. One thing is surprising: it never occurred to anyone to blame Moscow for these revelations, as happened after the victory in the election of Donald Trump.

Yes, Trump is different. He is significantly different from the previous president. But what does Russia expect in connection with this choice, who knows? If you look from Moscow or some Skovorodin, the Republicans are seen by people as more pragmatic and less dangerous to us than the losers of the democrats, who have been constantly petty and large-scale mischievous for the Russians. How much is Trump's team different from the team of the same Hillary Clinton? After a thoughtful analysis, it becomes clear that the actions of both parties are unfolding on the same lithospheric platform. They are much more similar than seen from afar. Both that team and the other intimidate the people with an external threat and draws a picture of various foreign machinations. Freedom and democracy are respected alone, prestige and economics are different, but also to that, and external forces are threatened, in any case the nation is in danger. Hillary did not like world populism and Russia, and Trump does not like transnational corporations, Mexico, China and developing countries. Tectonic shift in politics is inevitable. Perhaps that is why our diplomats are so cautious in their assessments and forecasts.
