This is the national culture, patriotism, centuries of morality, the primacy of state interests over personal ones, the authoritative position of traditional institutions, such as family, school, church, the continuity of social development (which, in fact, is the preservation of traditions). The work of conservative forces in foreign policy assumes a stake on the creation of a strong state built on a hierarchical system. We welcome the priority development of the country's military potential, the use of force in international relations, the preservation of historically traditional unions, protectionism in foreign trade.

Conservative forces of the new order fully accept the idea of the need for development. However, they are in favor of cautious and unhurried reforms. Examples of supporters of this policy can serve as US President Ronald Reagan and British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
Conservative and non-conservative forces
It should be noted that conservatism is a combination of political trends. Fascism, for example, is also a completely conservative trend, which puts state power and greatness at the center of all. The opponents of the conservatives are a whole range of alternative currents, left and right: liberals, in opposition to which the conservative forces once formed, socialists, communists, and so on.
