Snacks for shish kebab: prepare salads

In summer, in nature, in the forest or near the river, it's so nice to have a picnic, sit with friends, eat shish kebabs. Fortunately, ready-made pickled meat for shish kebab can be bought today in any store, it remains only to plant it on skewers and to brown on hot coals. But you will not eat one shish kebab. You definitely need a snack. But in this case we will have to cope on our own, because in the store of products with the label "snacks for kebabs" are not yet sold. Therefore, I want to invite you to try at least one of the following recipes for original snacks. They not only emphasize the taste of juicy meat, but also help the stomach cope with heavy food.

Light salad

This kind of snack for shish kebab is easy in all senses. It is easy to prepare, easy to eat and it will not be deposited on the sides in the form of extra pounds. For this salad take fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, sweet peppers, more dill and parsley and a few cloves of garlic. Wash thoroughly, cut into small pieces, salt, pepper to taste and season with olive oil or sour cream. The best recipes for salads are useless, when you can cook this "light salad"! The main thing here is that all the ingredients are fresh and preferably properly grown, then the taste will be better than any salad in the most expensive restaurant!

Salad "forest"

For this salad you need to take marinated mushrooms, boiled potatoes, cooked carrots, hard-boiled eggs and fresh cucumber. All the ingredients are cut into small cubes, salt, pepper and season with sunflower oil or sour cream. As a snack for shish kebab, this salad is ideal. And it is called forestry, because pickled mushrooms are better to take just collected in a forest clearing. Give preference to chanterelles, oleaginous, podereozovikam and honey agarics instead of buying champignons grown in special greenhouses.

Salad "unusual"

How can you combine sour, sweet and salty in one dish? Yes, it's very simple! Prepare an "unusual" salad and serve it to a hot shish kebab, with such an appetizer from the meat there will be no trace in a few minutes. For its preparation, take one apple, tomato, cucumber, a can of canned corn and a few rings of canned pineapple. Cut the vegetables and fruits into equal pieces so that they are not much larger than corn kernels. Put everything in a deep salad bowl, add three tablespoons of corn, pour the salad with the juice of one lemon and season with mayonnaise. This salad is definitely worth a try at least once! It is impossible to get used to his taste, and you will enjoy it again and again, and guests will ask you for recipes. Salads will be your crown dish!

Shashlik salad

If all the previous salads you can safely cook at home and eat with a sandwich for dinner, then this one is suitable only as a snack for shish kebab. For its preparation, wash and clean one eggplant, cut it into circles. Wash the two tomatoes, scald them with boiling water, peel and cut into small pieces. Heat the frying pan and pour a little vegetable oil on it. Cut one onion rings, finely chop the garlic and fry them until golden. Then put the tomatoes and eggplant in a frying pan, cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Finely chop a bunch of parsley and dill and add it to the vegetables, salt, pepper to taste, stir and again hold under the lid for another three minutes. Then put the stew in a deep salad bowl, add one cut salted cucumber and one fresh cucumber, season the salad with oil and serve it to the ready-made meat. Bon Appetit!
