The order of registration of labor books

Registration of work books is conducted by the employer. When entering the workplace, each employee is required to provide a work record. The registration of labor books must be strictly in accordance with the requirements of the Labor Code. If there is no such notification, the employer may be punished for delaying the issuance of the work book in the form of a fine or will be obliged to pay the employee the unearned earnings for the days of delay (Article 234 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation).
