How to tie a coat and avoid mistakes

Every woman dresses in accordance with her taste and style, but one thing is certain - we all strive to express our individuality in clothes. Those who are familiar with handicrafts, not by hearsay, can afford to realize any creative idea, even such laborious as a knitted coat. Hook such a job is simple, accurate and patience.

Before you start knitting, you need to make a number of preparations:

• Choose the style from the photos you like in magazines or sketch your version, depending on the features of the figure.
• Calculate the amount of yarn. Manufacturers of knitting threads accurately indicate the yardage on the label. The coat is crocheted, unlike the product made with knitting needles, will require more yarn. It is especially important to take this into account when using wool threads that shrink.
• Yarn should be purchased immediately for the whole product! Even co-ordinated colors can be from different lots and differ in shade.
• It is advisable to make a pattern of the model, especially if it provides a vtachnoy sleeve or raglan, as well as a collar of the original form.
• The size of the hook should correspond to the thickness of the thread, otherwise the fabric will turn out too loose or dense, which will negatively affect the appearance of the coat.

Now that all the preparatory tasks have been resolved, we can tie the coat together in a few days.

Beginning of work. Knitting the shelves

Tie a chain of the number of loops that corresponds to the size and report of the picture.

The first row is tied with bunches to create the density of the bottom of the coat, then the selected pattern runs the fabric up to the thigh line.

If the model is fitted, change the hook to a smaller one, this will allow to narrow the product without breaking the pattern. The usual distance from the line of the thighs to the waist is 15 cm, the successive decrease in the number of the hook will make a smooth, accurate transition.

Then, in the same way, we increase the width of the shelves to the required volume of the breast. When checking with the finished pattern, knit the coat to the armhole. Depending on the style, fit an armhole. Shoulder bevel is necessary in models without shoulder pads, shirt sleeve and raglan require freedom in the shoulders.

The back is performed in the same way.

It is easiest to knit a crochet with one cloth, without side seams. If the design features of the model do not require cuts (no pockets in the side seams), this will avoid deformation of the product after washing.

We knit the sleeves of the coat

If you do not have enough experience, it is better to knit the crochet sleeves from below, from the side of the cuff. Evenly add width, tying the extra bars from the outer air loops, and check with the pattern. Pick up the sleeves, close the posts on both sides in accordance with the pattern. More skilled masters can tie a sleeve to the armhole, for which you need to sew the shoulder seams, laying under them braid - so the seam does not stretch. Not every drawing allows you to knit a sleeve from the armhole, pay attention to it!

But on this knitting the crochet does not end. To the edge of the product is not wrapped and deformed, tie the contour with columns without a crochet or step. Strip off the coat with an iron, heated to the minimum temperature, through a cotton cloth, but do not press it.
