Among these victories was the gold medal at the Olympics in the hot Turin in 2006, where in the finals, White was able to score 46.8 points out of 50 possible. Sean notes that he is insanely worried when he loses. He can win at the Olympics, but on the same day lose in a friendly game of cards and survive the whole evening. He experiences amazing feelings when he realizes that people believe in him. Sean recalls that he even had such a friend who constantly put on him in competitions, and had to win not to let him down.

Until 2010, the victory at the Olympics in Turin was the main achievement of a snowboarder. But in Vancouver, he proved his superiority: the leading position remained behind him, and he received his second Olympic gold.
