Pasta "Unipack". Characteristics, purpose, use

To seal the connections with the thread in the water supply, heating and steam systems with low pressure, the "Unipack" paste is used. It is a gray matter with a high viscosity.

Characteristics

Paste sanitary "Unipak" consists of substances that are acceptable for use in food industries. These include fatty acids, minerals of natural origin, paraffin oils and water. Therefore, this paste does not have a harmful effect on human health. In addition, the paste does not pollute the environment, it is completely safe and environmentally friendly. The quality of the water in the pipeline does not change after using this product.

Pasta "Unipack" has a good consumption, it is advantageous to use from the point of view of economy. Due to its good consistency with pasta it is easy and pleasant to work.

Used with flax fiber from Unipack, the sealing paste allows to obtain a joint that can withstand pressures of up to 8 bar and a temperature of plus 140 degrees, while maintaining tightness. Also, the paste can withstand vibration well.

The quality of the sealing paste is confirmed by the test results and the certificates obtained. The technical characteristics were repeatedly confirmed by tests carried out by the Danish Technological Institute.

Appointment

The "Unipak" paste is designed for protection against leakage not only of water, but also steam. The tool is used simultaneously with flax (in the form of a fiber or cord for sealing) to seal threaded connections in piping systems with water (cold and hot), as well as steam under low pressure. It gives a 100% guarantee of protection.

Pasta "Unipack" protects flax from oxidation during operation, decomposition and burnout. Thus, the connection is protected against corrosion. The appearance of rust is hindered by the mineral components that make up the paste.

One of the advantages of pasta is the ability to disassemble the connection, if necessary. The "Unipack" paste gives flexibility to joints when aligning threads. This allows an angle of 45 degrees without loss of tightness.

Using

The first step in the application of the paste is the preparation of the thread. It must be cleaned of metal shavings and dirt. Further along its entire length, an even layer is tightly wrapped with fiber from flax. It is necessary to move in the direction of the thread pitch. On top of a smooth, unbroken layer, the "Unipack" paste is applied in the required amount. After a while, the thread is assembled. If there are excess pastes, they can easily be removed with a tissue. From that moment, you can use the pipeline.
