Composition and purpose
Enamel grade ХВ 785 is a paint and varnish material based on polyvinyl chloride resin. It is designed to protect pre-treated primed surfaces of reinforced concrete, concrete and metal structures that are used both indoors and outdoors (for this use black and red-brown enamel). It perfectly protects from the influence of aggressive gases (sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide and chlorine), and also reduces the damaging effect of sulfuric, phosphoric and hydrochloric acids. At the same time, the air temperature should not be more than 60 degrees.

Safety requirements
This paint is highly flammable and contains toxic substances. This is due to the presence in it of acetone, butyl acetate and sovol, as well as lead compounds. Solvents, which are part of the paint, during evaporation have a harmful effect on human organs. Therefore, when working with it, local and general ventilation of premises is necessary, and workers must use personal protective equipment. To extinguish ignition, it is necessary to use sand, koshma, chemical or air-mechanical foam. For working with paint, the air temperature of the working area should be in the range from -10 о С to +30 о С, and the relative humidity should not exceed 80%. When applying three layers on the previously primed surface, the XB-785 enamel retains its characteristic and characteristics for six years. In conditions of rooms with normal humidity, this period may increase.

Before starting work, it is necessary to clean the surface to be treated against rust or other contaminants (the metal plane must have the same roughness and metallic luster). For this, blasting or sandblasting can be used . In the case of impossibility of using the above methods, the use of cord brushes is allowed. Also it should be noted that the surface must be cleaned to the degree of degreasing in accordance with GOST 9.402-2004 (it is recommended to use white spirit). After that, it will be necessary to primer the metal surfaces with the following grades: ХС-068, ХС-010 and ХС-059. After completing all the preparatory work, you can go directly to painting.
How to apply enamel ХВ-785? Technical characteristics allow the following methods:

The paintwork material must be mixed well in order to obtain a homogeneous mass. In some cases, the use of solvents will be required to obtain the working viscosity (they can also be used to clean tools). A prerequisite is to prevent condensation of moisture. To do this, make sure that the surface temperature of the treated surface is at least 3 ° C above the dew point. The paint must be applied layer by layer. The first one dries about 1 hour (at the temperature of the working zone air +20 о С). The next layer is applied only if the previous one is completely dry.
This enamel can be used together with varnish ХВ-784.
Enamel HB 785: characteristics, consumption, storage conditions
When all necessary conditions are met, the theoretical consumption of this enamel is 125-150 g / m 2 in one layer. The manufacturer recommends applying two layers at a thickness of 60-100 microns.
Keep the paint in a tightly sealed container (at a distance from open heat sources) and always indoors at a temperature of -30 о С to +30 о С, in a dark and dry place. With prolonged storage, an increase in the inherent viscosity of the paint, as well as the settling and delamination of the pigments in it are allowed. Six months after opening, the paint is considered unfit for further use.
