Dosage form

The drug is produced in 3 dosage forms - suspensions, dispersible and regular tablets. Suspension of a pleasant smell, with a shade of yellow color and quite characteristic for this drug taste. The suspension can be redispersed when the vial is shaken.

Tablets are produced in almost white color, with a slight yellowish tinge. Round tablets, biconvex, both of its surfaces are smooth.

Pharmacological action of the drug

Pharmacological action refers primarily to nayz - tablets, the instruction contains data on all dosage forms. The drug is an NSAID containing a sulfonylidic moiety in its structure. Nimesulide, possibly, belongs to inhibitors of COX-2, as a result of which it has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, in addition, the drug has analgesic effects, but to a lesser extent.

The mechanism of action of the drug is associated with the suppression of the synthesis of prostaglandins in the inflammatory region, as well as suppression of the formation of oxygen radicals and inhibition of the release of myeloperoxidase.

Pharmacokinetics

Nyz is excellently absorbed from the digestive tract, reaching its maximum in the blood after 2 hours. The drug is 99% bound to proteins.

The drug Nise - tablets, instruction about which is taken from official sources, is metabolized in the liver, and is excreted from the body with urine, and 98% of the received dose is excreted within 24 hours.
