Unfortunately, the fish today is not present on the table in the amount (and quality), as it was before. Fish in Russia used from time immemorial. Even historians who describe the way of life and traditions of the Slavs at the earliest stages of the Russian state's formation, cite numerous evidences that the fish was a traditional dish on the Russian table.

Since then, a lot of time has passed, interest in fish dishes has increased and somewhat decreased, as, for example, in our days. And there are several reasons for this.
Firstly, the population does not have confidence in supermarkets supplying fish to our table. Any contamination of water affects its quality, because the fish is able to absorb both lead and even arsenic. Secondly, the increase in the number of people also affects the fact that fish resources are depleted, although part of this problem is solved by artificial reservoirs, where fish are bred on an industrial scale.

One of the most useful to this day remains pink salmon. In the meat of this fish contains vitamins, useful trace elements, for example, fluoride, iodine, and also acids (Omega-3) without which the normal functioning of the body is simply impossible.

What can I cook from it? Try a pie with pink salmon, which is prepared is not so difficult and to the forces even inexperienced housewives. For this we need one egg, one packet of yeast, salt - 2 teaspoons, but you can take more sugar - 2 tablespoons. In addition, 100 grams of margarine, 500 grams of flour and a glass of milk, approximately 250 ml. This is for the pie. If you are preparing a pie with pink salmon, then remember that a lot depends on the filling, or rather, on the quality of the fish. Therefore, the fish should be fresh and healthy. Pink salmon we need one kilogram. Add to our culinary list onions - 3 heads of medium size, butter, one yolk, dill, vegetable oil.

We pass to the main action. Put in the dish, margarine, egg, milk and salt with sugar. Top with flour and yeast. The dough can be made with the help of a bread maker. It is necessary for the dough to rise to the brim, that is, "ascend". After that, you can stretch it in a bowl. We close the plate with a towel or a film and put it in a cold place for about 1.5-2 hours. We knead again and leave for another few hours, ideally for the whole night, if time permits.

We are looking for pink salmon. It must be rinsed under cold water, oiled, sprinkled with seasonings and wrapped in foil, so that it does not lose its juiciness and becomes dry. Bake in the oven. The optimum temperature at which the pie with pink salmon will not be dry and will not lose flavor - 200 degrees, no more.

We bake for about half an hour. In the meantime, you can cut the onion, fry it in a frying pan and add dill to it. After the fish is soft, we carefully separate the meat and bones, and also remove the skin. We cut it finely and mix it with onions, butter and salt.

Now divide the dough into two parts. This will be the top and bottom of the pie. Lubricate the tray and spread the cake. Do not forget to make "sides", so that the pie is closed on all sides. Leave it uncooked for an hour, and then boldly send it to the oven and bake at a temperature of 170 degrees until it is ready.

This pie with pink salmon, the recipe of which is presented above, is served with fresh vegetables and herbs. It will become an ornament of any table, including a festive one.

By the way, did you know that a fish pie with pink salmon can be done not only with a raw carcass, but also, for example, using canned fish for cooking. Then it will be even easier to cook, since you do not have to separate meat and bones, remove the skin. Serve the cake with pink salmon to the table warm with salad and other herbs.
