Lake Loch Ness as a business project

Lake Loch Ness for the first time "designated" the habitat of a mysterious monster in the sixth century of a new era. Then the abbot of the local monastery with the help of prayer drove away the monster, who was preparing to eat one of the disciples' priests. The Abbot was subsequently ranked as a saint for this blessing.

After this "first phenomenon" the monster disappeared for more than a thousand years. Once again he was remembered in the late nineteenth century. In 1880, on a lake in a calm, windless weather, a small sailing vessel turned and sank (and, together with the crew and passengers). From this time on, the entire whistle began around the mythical monster, which, artificially heated, continues to this day.

By the end of the nineteenth century, the heroic era, when the "mistress of the seas" asserted her "Union Jack" on all continents and oceans, was over. It's time for quiet bourgeois who decided that it is not necessary to swim for enrichment at the far end of the earth, clutching the carbine's forearm. No, in order to make the wallet pleasantly swollen, you just need to organize a demand for what was available to residents of the vicinity of the Scottish Loch Ness. The demand for secrecy. What was done quickly, competently and without mental anguish.

In the press there were reports that different people at different times met directly in the lake or in its immediate vicinity some unknown creature, which, not allowing itself to be photographed, quickly disappeared out of sight. Tourists poured into the lake with a stormy stream. The monster that appeared, it disappeared for a while, however, not giving interest to its person to cool down. Lake Loch Ness attracted more and more tourists.

There are "photos" of the monster, later turned out to be a fake. Video filming, allegedly fixed a foam trail left by a moving monster. It is clear that after a while this "shooting" was also recognized as untenable. And this was repeated all the time.

To residents of the surrounding Loch Ness settlements, such attention of the press and especially tourists wishing to see with their own eyes the legendary Nessie (or, at least, try to do it) was good. Tourist business brings local people to annually up to twenty-five million pounds. And Romney Bremner, the owner of the Nessi Museum, located in the village of Drumnadrochit, became a millionaire! Needless to say, if Nessie does not exist, then it must be invented! The main secret of Loch Ness Lake is that it makes rich people of everyone who touched the tourist business created around a non-existent monster. I touched, of course, not as a tourist, but as a manager. If Nessie does not show herself for a long time of her own free will, then why not organize her appearance artificially? As they say, nothing personal, just business ...

And if we ignore this excitement called the monster of Loch Ness, what will we see in Northern Scotland, thirty-seven kilometers south-west of the city of Inverness? We will see a great beautiful deep (up to 180 meters) lake, surrounded by picturesque landscapes. Clean air, mountains, forests, well-developed tourist infrastructure (thanks to the monster!). Nessie, of course, you will not see, but it will turn out very well. True, the people are said to have a lot of summer here in the summer, but there's nothing to be done. There are many tourists everywhere. So forget about Nessie, and on arrival at the lake enjoy nature, stroll around the surrounding mountains, dip into the cold waters of Loch Ness, if health allows.

By the way, Lake Loch Ness is not alone in its mystery. In North Scotland there are two more lakes where, according to the stories, an unknown animal was seen. Do not want to visit?
