Park "Friendship" (Samara) - a favorite holiday destination for many residents

Samara is a Russian city with a million inhabitants, located in the Middle Volga region. There are many attractions that attract locals and tourists: ancient buildings, squares, monuments, museums, theaters, circus. Also the city is famous for its gardens, parks and squares. The article describes the park of Friendship. Samara is proud of this green oasis, where you can relax and unwind from the city noise, dust and fuss.

Description

This PC & A is not very big. Its area is 14.5 hectares. Has the correct form of a rectangle. In its central part is the building of the former cinema "Friendship". Now they have opened a cultural and entertainment center "Kabachok 12 chairs", which is popular with those who come to rest in the park "Friendship" (Samara). On the outskirts of the park in 2011 was built a wooden church of the Assumption of the Mother of God.

Along the paths that cross the park in different directions, there are benches. I am glad that there are a lot of benches here, so every walker can find a place to sit down and relax.

PC & O is primarily designed for family recreation, but on its territory the city authorities often conduct public events: competitions, concerts, competitions, festivals.

History

Park "Friendship" (Samara) was defeated in the 50 years of the last century. It stood on the balance sheet of the city, in good condition it was supported by the local budget. In the Soviet years, life was a key here, music, talk and laughter were heard everywhere. But by the end of the 90's. In the 20th century the park fell into decay: the lawns and flower beds were not cared for, trees and bushes were not trimmed, the destruction from wind, rain and hooligans was not eliminated, garbage was not removed. Positive trends emerged in the mid-2000s, when the PC & A unexpectedly noticed: the territory was removed, green plantings were improved, flowerbeds were revived. Immediately the park "Friendship of Peoples" (Samara) again became popular among young people, parents with children and the older generation.

The great work on the improvement of the park was done in 2014 before the festival of flowers. In the near future it is planned to install on the territory of a sports court, arrangement of a beach zone, and also providing it with shower cabins and sunbeds in the summer.

Infrastructure and entertainment

Park "Friendship" (Samara) has its own infrastructure. Along and across its territory are paved paths, which in some places are destroyed and require repair. In the park there are several small cafes, as well as shopping tents where souvenirs are sold, as well as ice cream, soft drinks (soda, juices), pies.

A small football field is built on the territory, where you can also play basketball, alongside horizontal bars, bars and other sports equipment. Many are attracted by a cycle track with wooden jumps. In summer, free yoga classes are held in the park.

For children there are two sites: Soviet times and modern with a cushioned (soft) coating. Nearby there are trampolines, covered maze, a dry pool with plastic balls, an attraction "Fishing". Very popular is the mini-stadium for children with electric vehicles.

On the territory of this object is also built a horse-racing club. Here you can both learn horse riding, and just ride a horse.

In winter, in a park on the main avenue, a free skating rink is filled with a lot of people. Nearby there is a rental of skates.

What else is known for the park "Friendship" (Samara)? "Roller coaster" is an attraction, which is open nearby PK & O. The place is known to all the townspeople. From wishing to ride and get a good portion of adrenaline, there is no release. It is worth noting, "Roller Coaster" is located in the entertainment park MAVI.

Residents of the city with great positive talk about this green island. According to many, the park "Friendship" (Samara), a photo of which is in the article, is a great place to relax. And as mummies with kids and pensioners, and young people can find here an activity to their liking. It is also easily accessible by metro. Stations that are located near the facility:

From the central bus station and bus station "Aurora" to the park can be reached on foot in about 30-35 minutes (along the street Aurora to the intersection with Gagarin Street, after upwards of 500 meters).
