How to freeze apples for the winter?
All people are looking forward to summer. And it's not just that it's much warmer at this time of the year and most often take a vacation. In summer, there are always a lot of different vegetables, fruits and berries, which are so scarce in the winter months. Of course, now you can always buy them in the supermarket. Only their taste is significantly different from summer ones. And, probably, this is most noticeable in apples. Bought in the store almost have no flavor and taste. Yes, their use is very doubtful. It will be much better to freeze the summer apples to preserve all their qualities.
In order to freeze apples for the winter, they are most often used in a dry way. For this, they are cut, the core is removed with seeds and cut into 6-8 pieces, depending on the size. If desired, you can peel apples from the skin, if it is not needed in prepared dishes. To lobes do not darken, they should be lubricated with lemon juice or water with ascorbic acid dissolved in it (for 100 ml 1 teaspoon). Prepared in this way, the fruit is dipped in lemon juice or water with ascorbic. Wrap it with food film, as much as possible removing air. Remove the apple in the freezer and use as needed.

Thanks to the freezing, even at the beginning of the next apple season, they retain all the properties of fresh fruits.
