Warnings

Ascorbic acid is absolutely contraindicated in people with diabetes mellitus, people with a tendency to thrombosis (clots in blood vessels), with high blood coagulability and with individual acid intolerance.

The excess of artificial vitamin is excreted from the body, so ascorbic acid in the urine can be detected within the next 4 hours. If you are going to take tests, it is better to stop taking pills 1 day before going to the polyclinic.

And, despite the peculiarity of ascorbic to be quickly consumed, the main danger is still an overdose: it can lead to impaired renal and pancreatic functions.

Overdose will prompt side effects: heartburn, diarrhea, skin rash. Such consequences occur with long-term intake of ascorbic in large amounts (more than 1 g per day).
