Daily use of boiled meat is quite boring, so sometimes you can vary your menu and cook chicken in sour cream. At the same time, meat should not be roasted. The dish is prepared in two stages: first the breast is boiled, and then poured with sour cream sauce and stew. For cooking, you will need:

  • Whole breast on a bone or fillet (about 300 g);
  • 100 ml of sour cream with 10% fat content;
  • 1 small head of onions;
  • Spices - salt, bay leaf, black pepper (to taste).

First you need to boil the meat. To do this, put it in cold, slightly salted water, put it on the stove and cook for 15-20 minutes. Do not digest - in this case the breast will turn dry and harsh. After cutting it into small pieces, we put it in a separate saucepan, pour sour cream, add the previously sliced and fried onion to a light golden color, season with spices - salt, black pepper and bay leaf - and mix. Then pour water (it should cover the products by about 2/3) and put the stew for 15 minutes on average fire. When most of the liquid is boiled, the dish is ready. It can be eaten separately, or even better served with a garnish of vegetables boiled for a couple, or with a light vegetable salad. Knowing the information about how much protein in the chicken breast, it is easy to calculate that this dish will provide you with about 70 grams of valuable substance, that is almost daily rate. It's so simple, tasty and useful.

Festive salad with chicken breast

With all the variety of recipes for cooking dishes from this nutritious meat, you should pay special attention to the salad. His cooking is simple and light, and the taste is so excellent that it is not embarrassing to submit it to the festive table. Prepare:

  • 500 g of boiled fillet (on how to cook meat, read in the previous recipe);
  • 50 g of peeled walnut;
  • 1 small clove of garlic;
  • Sour cream for refueling;
  • Spices - salt and pepper.

The process does not take 10 minutes - cut the boiled breast into small pieces or split into fibers thinner. Nuts chop in a coffee grinder or with a knife. Add to the meat. Garlic let through the press and send it to a salad, and then pour the entire mass of sour cream. Stir, salt and pepper to taste. Salad can be decorated with greens - chopped dill, green onions or parsley. Proceeding from the fact that one serving of salad is about 150 g, then, with pleasure eating it, you get 34.5 g of pure protein.
