Gas cylinder for a summer residence: we organize heating of the house

Some still have small country houses, inherited. A couple of rooms (or even one), and a small terrace. And even in the case when you use the house only in the summer months, in the evening it is sometimes cool, and weather vagaries should not be discarded from the accounts either.

So how can we be in this case? Calling a stove-maker is very, very expensive, it is simply dangerous to acquire a "burger", and you will burn fuels, solid fuel boilers for dacha will be a bait for vandals ...

It is for such cases that the gas cylinder for the dacha is ideal. Of course, we are talking about a gas convector and a heating system, and not about a gas stove with the burners twisted to maximum. The cylinder can also be brought in a car, but there is often no trunk gas even in the suburbs of megacities, let alone the dacha farms.

The advantage of this solution is also the fact that in each living room you can install your convector, providing comfortable living conditions in a particular room and not spending extra gas for heating the entire house. On the power it is difficult to say something concrete, since here everything is selected for individual needs.

But keep in mind that with the power of such a device of 5 kW you can easily heat the house in 48-50 "squares". And this despite the fact that these standards are calculated for the winter, whereas during the exploitation of housing in the spring, summer and autumn, you can save a lot on their purchase. The gas cylinder for dachas is best mounted on the street, strictly following the fire regulations.

Currently, the industry produces a wide range of such products, and their capacity can vary from 5 to 50 liters. If you plan to stay in the country for longer, and also if you live in the northern regions, the optimal solution is just the capacity of 50 liters. Such a gas cylinder for cottages can be produced with a valve gear (frog), as well as with a threaded valve connection. From the point of view of security, the second option is much preferable.

We highly recommend buying only high-quality gearboxes if you are going to stay outside the city even in winter, when the outside air temperature can drop below 25 degrees Celsius. Of course, refueling gas cylinders for cottages in this case can cost you a lot of money, but in some cases it is justified.

As we have already said, it is preferable to install gas tanks outside the living quarters, but in case of their small volume, installation in storerooms or boiler rooms is allowed. But it is safer to install any gas cylinder for a dacha only in a special metal cabinet fixed to the outer wall of the house. The liquefied gas must be liquefied only with high quality steel pipes.

Note that from the cylinder to the convector only one-piece pipes can be used, without welding and threaded connections. Only in places of branching, welding is allowed. Of course, the installation of a gas cylinder at the dacha in modern industrial conditions can be carried out on polymer pipes, but in official fire regulations these permits have not yet been officially approved.

In a word, having performed such installation and being in the field of view of the fire department, you can get a considerable fine.
