Fish in foil, the recipe of which can be read below, is prepared quickly and turns out very tasty. The dish, cooked in this way, tastes very juicy, but looks beautiful. The meat of the fish becomes tender and well baked. This dish contains more vitamins and fewer calories than fried fish. Large pieces should be sealed, otherwise the dish will be spoiled - the juice will flow out and the fish will turn dry. Preparation of fish in foil has some features. When wrapping it, avoid contact of the foil with the tender flesh, otherwise it will be difficult to separate the fish, so if it is cut into pieces, it is put on a pillow of vegetables and covered on top, for example with onions. Fish readiness is determined by the so-called "lifting of the foil".

Fish in foil. Recipe 1. Salmon fillet with potatoes and mushrooms

For preparation it is required:

  • Salmon fillet - 500 g
  • Potatoes - 3 pcs.
  • bulb
  • Fresh mushrooms - 300 g
  • Lemon
  • Spices - to taste
  • salt
  • soy sauce

Cooking should be like this:

Marinate the fish in soy sauce with the addition of spices and lemon juice. While marinating fish, peel the potatoes and cut it into thin mugs. Lubricate the foil generously with vegetable oil and lay on it potatoes, peeled and chopped fresh mushrooms and pickled fish. Carefully tear the foil in the form of an envelope, place it on a baking tray and put in the oven for half an hour, preheating it to 200 degrees. If desired, sprinkle the fish with hard grated cheese.

Fish in foil. Recipe 2. Fish with vegetables, cooked portionwise

For preparation it is required:

  • Fillet of trout or salmon - 600 g
  • lemon
  • Bulgarian pepper - 150 g
  • Zucchini - 150 g
  • Carrots - 150 g
  • Onion 150 g
  • greenery
  • Spices - to taste
  • salt

Cook this way:

Cut fish fillets into portions and each put separately on a sheet of foil, sprinkle with lemon juice (or put a thin circle of lemon), sprinkle with spices (you can buy a special seasoning for fish), salt. Top with fresh vegetables, pre-peeled and cut into strips. Once again sprinkle with spices and lightly salt, decorate with a sprig of dill (parsley). If desired, you can sprinkle with grated cheese. Screw the pieces of fish into foil and clamp the edges. Cook half an hour in a preheated oven to 200 degrees.

The dish is served on a plate directly in the foil. Garnish can serve as lettuce leaves, fresh herbs, sliced fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. Fish in foil with vegetables is ready. This is an easy dish that can be considered dietary.

Fish in foil, recipe 3. Carp whole

For preparation it is required:

  • Carp fresh whole - no more than 1.5 kg
  • lemon
  • Bulb - 1 pc.
  • vegetable oil
  • salt
  • Bay leaf
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Spices - to taste

Cooking should be like this:

Clear the carcass from the scales, remove the gill plates and gut. Wash thoroughly the carcass, dry with a paper towel and generously rub from inside with salt and outside, sprinkle with the juice of half a lemon, the remaining lemon cut into circles. On one side of the carcass make cuts, the number of them is equal to the number of prepared circles of lemon. The abdomen of the carp is rubbed from inside with garlic (crushed or chopped), and pepper, put chopped onions, sprigs of dill, if desired - bay leaf. Fish grease with any vegetable oil, insert in the notches of a circle of lemon. Fold in foil (preferably in two layers). Bake for about 45 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. Ten minutes before the readiness to unfold the foil, put the fish in the oven for browning. Transfer the prepared carp to a dish. Garnish can be boiled or fresh vegetables. Carp should turn out juicy. Over time, it is worth watching closely, because "dry" this fish is easy.
