Fast and light dinner: pasta with shrimps in creamy sauce

Sometimes it would be desirable to prepare something original, but thus, as a rule, that does not suffice time, in a refrigerator the necessary ingredients are not found out. Today we offer a recipe that does not require large time and grocery costs - " Pasta with shrimps in a creamy sauce". You will need: half a kilogram of any shrimp and a half-kilogram of spaghetti, as well as several fresh tomatoes, green onions, dill, a pair of garlic cloves, half a glass of sour cream or cream, salt and vegetable or olive oil for frying. Well, now let's take a closer look at how to prepare spaghetti with shrimps in a creamy sauce.

We start by defrosting shrimps. The most optimal way is to pour them with boiling water and leave until the water cools. If the shrimps are already peeled - well, if not - then we undertake to clean. While you are conducting this procedure, you can put the water for pasta to heat, by the time you finish - it is already boiling. Then we dip the spaghetti into the salted water and start to prepare the sauce.

Pasta with shrimps in a creamy sauce, like any Italian dish, is impossible without tomatoes. Therefore, we take our tomatoes, cut them into small cubes, put them in a frying pan and fry them in olive (or vegetable) oil for a few minutes. As soon as the tomatoes let the juice, we add garlic and greens to them, which are already finely chopped. Then we send shrimp to the same pan. You can additionally add a special seasoning for crêttes, the taste will be more intense and sharp. All mixed and left to stew for a couple of minutes. Next, add cream or sour cream, salt, bring to a boil and turn off.

Spaghetti by this time already cooked (try to keep them to be a little hard, that is, they had aldente ready), throw them into a colander, and then add it to the frying pan, mix it and voila! Our pasta with shrimps in creamy sauce is ready! It remains only to decorate the dish beautifully with greenery, and serve it to the table! Decorate the dish, you can also add a small amount of red caviar.

Now I would like to give some tips on cooking:

- To ensure that the shrimp does not become too stiff, make sure that after you put them in the pan passed no more than 2-3 minutes.

- If your pasta with shrimps suggests high quality spaghetti, then there is no need to wash them after boiling, but if you use pasta of a different kind, this procedure can not be avoided to get rid of excessive starch.

- It will be much more convenient and faster if you buy already peeled shrimp. In this case, cooking a meal will take a minimum amount of time and effort.

- If the pasta with shrimps in a creamy sauce bores you (although this is unlikely to happen, it's very tasty it turns spaghetti), try to replace the shrimp with another seafood, for example, squid, octopus or, at the most extreme, crab sticks. The cooking technology remains the same, only the squid and octopus must be pre-cooked in salted water. Crab sticks just need to defrost properly. Boiling squid or octopus, closely monitor the cooking time: prolonged boiling can make the meat of this mollusc hard and "rubbery". Prepared in this way, the dish acquires a slightly different color, without losing its basic taste qualities.
