At the 16-valve engine their support is also installed in the upper part, but already in the common bearing housing. In its installation, the VAZ-2112 engine has a hydraulic valve tappet. This makes it possible, in contrast to the 8-valve engine, to do without adjustment.

The engine VAZ-2112 (for classics) is equipped with two valves for each cylinder - this is the intake and, accordingly, the exhaust. A 16-valve has four valves - two intake and two exhaust. The valve seat and guide sleeve on any model of the motor of this model are pressed into the head of the unit.

At VAZ-2112 the engine has the combined system of greasing - by splashing and under pressure. Thus, the main and connecting rod bearings and the camshaft bearing are lubricated.

The intake of the injection engine VAZ-2112 is the same at any engine temperature. This engine model has three main reasons why it can not start - it does not work:

• starting system;

• Ignition system;

• supply system.

The first cause can be manifested in the incorrect operation of the starter. To solve this problem, consult a specialist. To investigate the ignition system, it is necessary to check the high voltage circuit. If there is no damage on it, you need to make sure there is a spark on the spark plugs. If there is no spark, you should change the high-voltage wires to new ones, you may need to replace the module.

An indicator that the power system is healthy is the fuel pressure in the fuel rail. For troubleshooting, it may be necessary to replace the fuel filter, air filter, or fuel pump.

At the time of engine operation, its optimum temperature regime is maintained by the cooling system. If the operation of this system is broken - this will inevitably lead to engine overheating. As a result, there may be consequences in the form of breakdown of the gasket in the head of the unit, and as a result, expensive repairs are necessary.
