Under the hood of this car can be located several types of engine. There are four options. Of these, two petrol and the same number of diesel. So, the first one is a 1.6-liter 106-strong. Not a bad gasoline engine, but better than it is a 2-liter, generating 143 horsepower. Of course, the VVT system is installed here, due to which the gas distribution phase is regulated.

Diesel engines are slightly weaker. These are motors with the common-rail system. At one volume in one and a half liters (102 horsepowers), at another - two (113 hp). It is interesting that diesel engines, like the VVT system, appeared on the Kia car for the first time on this model, but not for nothing. It was VVT that increased the efficiency of the engine and minimized the level of harmful emissions.

All listed engines are offered with both a 4-speed automatic and 5-speed mechanics.
