Beer: benefit and harm

One of the most popular alcoholic beverages in the world is beer. The benefits and harms of it have not been fully studied. There is a huge amount of opinions, beliefs and prejudices about this. It is clear that real beer lovers will not refuse him under any circumstances, but still I would like to understand that from all that we know about the foam drink, it corresponds to the truth and what does not.

Among the most ancient drinks invented by people, everyone without the slightest doubt will name beer. Benefits and harm to him were of interest to our ancestors. But they were not inclined to see the negative sides in such a wonderful liquid, and therefore in Europe for centuries beer was drunk at every corner almost in place of water. In fairness, it should be noted that the then beer was still very different from the modern options that flooded the shelves of supermarkets.

Modern science is able to provide answers to any questions, the effect of various doses of alcohol on the human body has been thoroughly studied. Why are people still quite calm and even with pleasure drinking beer? The benefits and harms of this drink seem to worry only scientists, yet the rest are easily ready to trust very common myths. So, we'll figure it out.

Firstly, based on the fact that beer belongs to low-alcohol beverages, people believe that it can be consumed as much as you like, especially since it includes entirely natural products that not only do not harm, but even benefit.

However, it should be borne in mind that most of these "utilities" decay during fermentation, and what is produced as a result is often the most real poison of delayed action. And, by the way, they get used to beer much quicker than to vodka. A person may even not realize that this happened when he drinks an obligatory evening bottle.

Secondly, it is often possible to hear statements that beer is simply a storehouse of vitamins. Many are inclined to perceive this as a guide to action, as drinking a drink is much more pleasant than incomprehensible tablets. Particularly diligent even calculated that it is necessary to drink exactly a liter! per day.
Well, we admit that there is some truth in this statement. Yes, beer is not deprived of a certain amount of vitamins, especially the so-called live beer. Its use, however, is very conditional. In order to get a daily dose of vitamin B1, you need to drink as much as ten! Liters of foam, and not a drop less. Do not you think that it will be much more useful to eat a bowl of buckwheat with vegetables.

Third, especially zealous fans of beer believe that it is useful almost for all organs, both individually and combined.
For example, the heart. If you drink beer regularly, a person runs the risk of earning an early heart attack, not to mention dyspnea and varicose veins.

Kidneys when drinking beer allegedly better remove toxins from the body. Sorry, but the frequent trips to the toilet, which invariably accompany any libations, do not contribute to purification in any way. The body loses just the right and very valuable elements, for example, magnesium, potassium and proteins with fats.

As for the brain, then there's nothing to talk about beer. In this case, the benefits and harm are not even discussed. Alcohol uniquely and irrevocably destroys its cells.

There is one more hidden danger, which is fraught with confidence in how great the benefits of beer. For men, it turns into a well-known "beer tummy" and less noticeable changes in the figure at first, which becomes more and more feminine. In women, everything is exactly the opposite. And the reason for this is phytoestrogen, a substance related to female hormones.

For dedicated fans of beer, I want to note in the end that it still happens differently. If you choose quality products of manufacturers with world-wide names and an infallible reputation, and also know the extent of the quantity issue, beer, if it does not, will not do any harm.
