Apple puree: a recipe for excellent harvest for the winter

How to cook apples puree for a child?

For complementary foods, it is best to make a product without sugar and other ingredients. To save a maximum of vitamins, use an enamel saucepan, a wooden spoon and a crush for cooking. Wash and peel apples, removing not only the seeds, but also the peel. Cut them into thin slices, put the dishes on a small fire and wait until the fruit will not give off the juice. After its appearance reduce the fire to a minimum, since apples must languish, and not boil. Stew about forty minutes, stirring occasionally, so as not to burn. When apples become soft, turn off the fire and chop the fruit into a smoothie. Put the dishes back on the stove and boil the apples. Cook a couple of minutes, gently stirring. Pour the mashed potatoes over clear glass jars, close the lids, turn the jars and wrap them around. After complete cooling, take away the resulting puree of apples.

The recipe for mashed potatoes with sugar

If you do not plan to feed your baby, but just want to make a blank for the winter, you can add other ingredients in the mashed potatoes. The standard variant is sweet apple puree. The recipe is this: for a kilogram of fruit you need one hundred and fifty milliliters of water and a half cup of sugar. Wash and clean apples thoroughly, remove the cores and cut the fruit into cubes. Fill the sugar with water and stir, pour apples into the dishes and send to a plate to cook on a small fire. For twenty minutes cook, stirring gently. Soften apples a little mash with a crush for mashed potatoes. Spread the product over sterilized jars, roll up and store in a cool place. It does not matter if you plan to use the preparation in its pure form or as a filling for home-made pies, you will definitely like this puree of apples.

Recipe with condensed milk

This version of the preparation of apple puree guarantees a particularly delicate and appetizing result. Take one and a half kilograms of apples, one hundred grams of sugar and two hundred and fifty grams of condensed milk. Peel the apples from the peel and bones, cut and fold into a saucepan, pour half a glass of water and cook until softened. Slightly cool and make with the help of crushed apple puree. The recipe advises to add one hundred grams of sugar, but to taste it is possible to reduce or increase this amount. Boil the sweetened puree, boil for ten minutes, then add the condensed milk and after a couple of minutes, spread a gentle dessert over the sterilized jars. It turns out puree with a very mild creamy taste, which the whole family likes.
