"White Stork" is brandy, which has been known to fans of spirits since Soviet times. Created by the best winemakers in Moldova, it is still considered one of those that can adequately compete with similar products from the world's most famous producers.

"White Stork" is cognac, the creation of which was once worked by the best Moldovan masters of winemaking. The most important feature of this drink is that it is made according to classical French technology. The essence of the method is extremely simple. Grapes prepared in a special way for a long time should be kept in wooden barrels. Here, the product, interacting with a substance called "tannin", released from oak packaging, undergoes significant changes during the course of complex chemical transformations. This single divin turns into a drink with a strength of 40% with a sugar content of not more than 1.5%. As a result of the union of the two forces of nature, an amazing nectar is born, which retains the smell of a blossoming vine and the heat of the scorching sun rays.

Wine distillates stand for at least three years, acquiring an amber color and a mild flavor with a vanilla flavor. "White Stork" is cognac, which for many years was considered the most popular in the territory of the former Union. Its quality was appreciated at many eminent international competitions, where the product received five gold, three silver and one bronze medal. To date, the "White Stork" is cognac, which is still considered the most popular brand and one of the main brandy brands of Moldova.

A bit of history

In the days of the former Soviet Union, many cognacs were produced, which it was almost impossible to distinguish, since they all contained in their name an addition in the form of the phrase "3 stars" or "5 stars". The unusual name of the brand is associated with the ancient folk legend. They say that in the 18th century, during the siege of one of the Moldovan fortresses, the defenders had almost finished provisions. The forces of the soldiers were running out. At that time, a flock of storks unexpectedly appeared in the sky, which held grapes in their beaks. Coming up to the besieged fortress, they began to throw them down. The warriors, inspired by this spectacle, found strength in themselves and repulsed the onslaught of the enemy. So the old legend gave the name to the new product. In turn, cognac "White Stork" eventually glorified native Moldova to the whole world.

This divin refers to products of the category DVM, as for its preparation, wine distillates with a maturation period of no more than 6-7 years are used. At the same time, no more than 25 percent of young products with a shelf life of at least 3 years are introduced into the blend in the process of production on the basis of the technological instruction. The result is a golden-amber drink with a harmonious soft taste and a pleasant delicate aroma of flowers and vanilla. Having a fortress of 40 percent, it can be both a good aperitif and an excellent digestive, served with dessert after a plentiful meal.
