Turkey's thigh - the recipe is simple and accessible to everyone

It's no secret that you can cook from turkey excellent baked meat with the usual ingredients and spices. For lovers of delicious and original dishes below, a couple of options are offered, how to cook a turkey thigh for a festive table or a typical meal. The recipe of each dish is quite simple, tasty in its own way and designed for 4 people. For more people, the number of ingredients increases proportionally.

1. Turkey in apple wine (cider):

To prepare this festive dish turkey thigh (the recipe provides this), you need to choose not very large thighs. Their weight should not exceed 1 kg. You will also need these products:

- butter creamy over-heated - 50 g;

- Potatoes (preferably slowly digested) - 1kg;

- sourish apples - 2 pieces;

- cider - 0,5 l;

- Leeks - 3 stems;

- marjoram - 7 small twigs;

- pepper;

- salt.

Preparation:

- In a deep frying pan melted butter and it is fried on both sides of the turkey thigh. This recipe provides for the use of melted butter, since with the other oil the taste of the dish will be completely different. During the frying of meat, it should be peppered and salt to taste. In a preheated oven to 150 ° C, a prepared turkey thigh is placed directly in a frying pan . In the oven turkey bake for about 2 hours.

- Peeled and washed leeks cut into large rings. Peeled and washed potatoes are cut into large cubes. The washed apples are cut into quarters, the seeds are removed and finely chopped. After 0.5 hours of meat in the oven, add all the prepared vegetables and apples to it. All ingredients, pepper a little more and salt.

2. Baked turkey thigh (the recipe is distinguished by the presence of a large number of different spices, so it is more suitable for fans of exotic cuisine):

To prepare the following ingredients:

- large turkey thigh - maximum up to 2 kg;

- Butter - 3 tbsp. Spoons;

- ground paprika - 1 teaspoon;

- ground ginger, cardamom, black pepper - each for 0.5 teaspoons;

- ground nutmeg, cloves, bay leaves - each with 0.25 teaspoons;

- cayenne pepper ground - on the tip of the knife;

- lemon juice - 25 ml;

- common salt.

Preparation:

- With butter lemon juice is thoroughly mixed. All ground spices (except pepper and salt) are added to this mixture. The washed turkey thigh is dipped dry with a paper napkin. The meat is rubbed with salt and ground pepper. Carefully poking your fingers under the turkey skin, separate it from the meat to form a gap between them (a pocket). In the resulting pocket evenly distribute a mixture of spices and oils. After this procedure, grease the turkey thigh and outside.

- In the oven preheated (up to 230 ° C), place the meat laid on a baking sheet. Bake it should be until the skin is not well roasted. From the puncture of the finished meat (in the thickest part of it), transparent meat juice (without the sugars) should be released. The average time to bake a hip depends on its size. It can take from 40 to 60 minutes.

- Finished meat is transferred to a dish, covered with a piece of foil and settled for about 15 minutes indoors at room temperature. Thanks to this procedure, the meat will become even more juicy and tender.
