Sweet bread with poppy seeds baked at home will serve as an excellent substitute for shop flour products. But if you do not like to mess around in the kitchen for a long time, we recommend using one of the following recipes, which do not require much free time for realization. Thanks to them, you can quickly and easily make a very delicious sweet bread with poppy seeds. Unlike the shop product, it will include only natural ingredients that are not capable of harming your body.

We make sweet bread: the recipe of preparation with poppy seeds and dried fruits (raisins, dried apricots)

The presented product is familiar to many from childhood. After all not so long ago sweet bread with poppy was regularly prepared by our mothers and grandmothers. If you decide to treat your children with such a treat, you should take care of the following components in advance:

  • Light flour of high quality (for dough) - from 450 g;
  • Active yeast active (take dry, for dough) - a full dessert spoon;
  • Salt cooked small (for dough) - ½ small spoon;
  • Granulated sugar (2 large spoons for the dough, about 150 g for the filling);
  • Butter natural creamy (add to the dough) - 3 large spoons;
  • Milk of large fat content fresh (for the test - about 300 ml, for the filling - about 100 ml) - only 400 ml;
  • Poppy (used for filling) - about 100 g;
  • Dried apricots sweet (add to the filling) - 50 g;
  • Raisins are dark (for filling) - about 50 g.

Very many mistresses make sweet bread in the bread maker. Recipes for such a device are practically the same as those designed for self-baking. That is why the described ways of making a delicious homemade delicacy can be used in either case.

To replace the yeast base by yourself, you will need to heat the milk slightly on low heat. Further to it it is necessary to pour in small granulated sugar and thoroughly dissolve it. After the described actions to the ingredients you need to add a spoonful of dry yeast and wait until they swell.

Approximately a quarter of an hour to the milk base, it is necessary to lay out a soft cooking oil and a little salt. Mixing the ingredients with your hand, they should be gradually poured high-grade flour. As a result, you should get a homogeneous base, slightly sticking to the fingers.

Of course, sweet bread in the bread maker, whose recipes provide for a similar set of products, is prepared much easier and easier. However, the self-knit and baked product is much more delicious. Moreover, not every hostess has such an adaptation.

There is another recipe for such a product, which requires less money and time to prepare. For him we will need to purchase in advance:

  • Light flour of high quality (for dough) - from 500 g;
  • Active yeast active (take dry, for dough) - a full dessert spoon;
  • Salt cooked small (for dough) - ½ small spoon;
  • Granulated sugar - for dough 2 large spoons, for filling 4 large spoons;
  • Butter natural creamy (add to the dough) - 100 g;
  • Milk of large fat content is fresh - for dough about 400 ml;
  • Poppy (used for filling) - about 100 g;
  • Chocolate white (for glaze) - 90 g;
  • Cream (for glaze) - about 50 ml.

Dough for preparation of a roll

Before you make sweet bread with poppy seeds, you should knead a yeast base. For this, dry active yeast and granulated sugar must be poured into warm fatty milk, and then wait for their dissolution, leaving in complete rest for a quarter of an hour. After that, the ingredients should be added pre-melted and cooled cooking oil, small salt and high-grade flour. After mixing a soft base, it needs to be covered with a dense cloth, and then left in a warm place for an hour and a half. This time will be enough to make the dough well up.

The process of forming a poppy roll

After the above-mentioned time, the yeast base needs to be divided in half and rolled into large rectangular strata. Further, their surface must be sprinkled with dry poppy seeds and fine granulated sugar. After that, the base sheets should be screwed into a tight roll and moved to a greased baking sheet. If there is a desire, then their surface can be smeared with whipped egg whites. This procedure will contribute to the appearance of a glossy crust.

Baking in the oven of the formed product

It is recommended to bake a sweet poppy roll in the oven for about 45 minutes. The temperature should not be above 205 degrees. After the product has risen, it will become lush and soft, you can safely remove it.

If this batch is meant for children, then in addition it can be decorated with chocolate glaze. For this, it is required to melt the white tile in a water bath along with the cream. The resulting glaze is necessary to pour the rolls, using a culinary syringe or a regular spoon for this.
