In height, balcony doors also do not have a certain standard, and depend primarily on the thickness of the sill and its level above the floor in its pure form. However, experts do not recommend installing a door below 1900 mm.

To increase the net opening, balcony doors are equipped with special boxes of minimum permissible thickness, and to increase the strength of such systems it is recommended to use metal angles.
