Without the help of the specialists of this country with a higher level of development, which formed entire engineering regiments, the brilliant aggressive campaigns of the Mongols would be impossible. But the empire of the greatest conqueror disintegrated, and China, whose rulers assimilated with the local population, once again began to rule in their region.

Already after the conquest campaigns of Genghis Khan the Europeans did not just understand that China is in Asia, but also decided to find a way to this country. Marco Polo visited the summer residence of the Mongol emperors and lived in this country for more than three years. But, in addition to confidence in what continent is China and new words (for example, tangerines) that easily entered the European vocabulary, this trip of the Venetian merchant for the development of relations between East and West did not yield anything.
