Stuffed tomatoes, the recipes of which can be found in any culinary mix, are a very common snack, which is a little more difficult to prepare than salads and natural vegetables. For stuffing, you can use any minced meat - vegetable, cheese, fish, shrimp ... Just room for a flight of fantasy! If you have a desire to dream up, you can come up with your own stuffing, or you can make stuffed tomatoes, the recipes of which are already well known.

One of the most popular recipes are tomatoes stuffed with vegetables. The best for stuffing are red tomatoes of regular rounded shape, having a dense flesh. The tomatoes are thoroughly washed and cut off at the top - the lid, a thickness of one and a half centimeters. Then, with a teaspoon, carefully remove the middle without damaging the walls.

The filling is made from onion, vegetable greens and a few root crops: carrots, celery, parsley and parsnip. Root crops are cleaned, cut into strips and thrown into a frying pan with a red-hot vegetable oil. Onions are also cleaned, ground and fried. The greens are washed, cut into pieces, mixed with fried vegetables and salt. The resulting stuffing is filled with tomatoes and covered with lids. Stuffed tomatoes recipes can be varied, poured with tomato sauce, which is prepared the same way as for stuffed peppers.

For tomato sauce, use healthy mature tomatoes, which are passed through a meat grinder. The resulting tomato mass is brought to a boil and cooked for about five minutes. Now the hot tomato mass needs to be wiped through a sieve to separate the skins and seeds. Then in the received weight it is necessary to add salt, sugar and spices. To make the mass thicken, it is added to the flour fried in a dry frying pan. To avoid the formation of lumps, a little water is added to the flour.

All components are well mixed and boiled for 15 minutes. Ready-made sauce is filled with cans with stuffed tomatoes and put on pasteurization in a container with hot water. Do this to ensure that they are soaked in marinade and not cracked. Tomatoes are better to take medium, but if large ones are caught, you can cut them into two parts. Onions cut into rings and stacked on tomatoes from above.

Marinade should be brought to a boil, add the vinegar and hot pour into the jars. A liter jar of marinade will require half a liter, for three liters - 1.5 liters. Banks are put on pasteurization for 12-15 minutes, depending on the size of the jar. Pasteurized jars are rolled up and wrapped until cooled.

Marinade in this recipe is so delicious that it usually drinks first, and tomatoes are eaten after.
