Shoulder joint. Dislocation and treatment

Often people injure the shoulder joint. The dislocation of this part of the skeleton is found in fifty percent of the cases of appeals. These injuries are divided into different types. Dislocation can be congenital. Often it is traumatic or primary. There are dislocations habitual. They develop after traumatic. The shoulder joint of a dislocation can be chronic. This type of pathology arises in connection with the defeat of muscles, tendons, ligament-capsular apparatus, and also due to the development of various ailments (tuberculosis, arthropathy, osteodystrophy, etc.).

In the case when the shoulder joint of the dislocation was traumatic primary, the facts of irreparable pathologies can be classified. They are not eliminated even under anesthesia. The cause of such cases may be the interposition of soft tissues or tendons, cartilage, etc. If a traumatic dislocation was diagnosed three weeks after it was received, then this pathology is considered chronic. Classify and complicated cases. They are accompanied by a combination of shoulder dislocation and other injuries.

The appearance of pathology can occur in connection with the impact. Often a dislocation of the right shoulder joint is found after falling on a straightened arm. In the case of such an injury, it is not necessary to eliminate the pathology immediately at the scene of the incident. Correct the dislocation only after anesthesia. There are many different methods that allow the shoulder joint to be replaced.

Dislocation is eliminated by the methods of Hippocrates-Cooper, Koher, Chaklin, Janelidze, and also Mukhina-Mota. The next stage is the control radiography. The limb is fixed with a plaster bandage. It is imposed for a period of two to six weeks.

Treatment of a dislocation of the shoulder joint in an irreparable case is made only by an operative route. If surgical intervention is impossible for various contraindications, then the trauma becomes chronic. In this case, all medical measures are directed to develop adaptive skills in the patient. If you are concerned about pain symptoms, then Novocain blockades or analgesics are used.

Older dislocations try to correct when the patient is under anesthesia. If this is not possible, then they resort to an operative intervention. In the next stages massage, exercise therapy and physical therapy are prescribed.

Treatment of a dislocation classified as traumatic, aims to eliminate pathology in the shortest possible time. After that, the inserted ends of the bones require holding in the correct position (this is done by fixing them). The following procedures are aimed at recovering the lost functions of the damaged joint. The success of all the actions taken directly depends on the full-fledged analgesia and relaxation of the muscles of the injured arm.

A habitual dislocation of the shoulder joint can be obtained by performing normal movements. Trauma often happens when combing, washing or carrying heavy objects. For the first time such a pathology develops within half a year after receiving the primary dislocation. Such traumas can be repeated up to ten times a year. To exclude such cases, the method of correcting the primary dislocation should be chosen correctly. An important factor is the correct fixation of the limb, promptly conducted surgical treatment and a full rehabilitation period.
