Pump-mixing units for underfloor heating VALTEC COMBIMIX, VALTEC COMBI, Oventrop. Scheme of pump-mixing unit for underfloor heating

In today's market, special attention should be paid to the pumping and mixing units for the warm floor VALTEC and Oventrop. Designs are universal in use. "Valtek" is designed to adjust the temperature regime to 60 degrees Celsius, "Oventrop" to -90. When choosing a product, you should pay attention to the level of allowable pressure. In the first case, it is 10 bar, in the second - 6.

Short Comparison

Oventrop is convenient in a bath or bath, it is used to quickly warm up the premises. Manufacturers recommend making laying pipes under a large layer of concrete. VALTEC eliminates the presence of a pump in the package. Oventrop is ready to offer watery warm walls and other interesting solutions, used together with warm floors, allowing to achieve the optimum regime in the building.

The mixing and mixing units for the warm floor VALTEC are pleased with a large number of fittings, additional automation, which is very convenient for creating a "smart house" system. For a more detailed introduction below, brief characteristics of the devices are considered.

- Cross-section of collectors - 1 inch (25, 4 mm).

- Number of nozzles - 12.

- The cross-section of the pipes is ¾ in., The thread is external, the connection is according to the Eurocone standard.

Operational characteristics

Pumping and mixing units for the warm floor are used to create a circulation system of tubes with a low temperature regime of the liquid. Adjustment of a comfortable microclimate is carried out by controlling the flow of fluid and flow in the return, the relationship of the contours.

Operation of mixing units is carried out in the system of heating floors, walls, open areas, greenhouse and greenhouse soil. Designs are used in conjunction with the collectors, while observing a center-to-center distance of 20 cm. The pump-mixing unit for the warm floor is small in size, which is very convenient when placed in small areas.

What tasks does the COMBI system solve?

The unit allows to increase the intensity of the fluid passage in the loops of the floor and to reduce the temperature regime to the established level. This is facilitated by mixing it with chilled water coming from the loops of the "warm floor" system. The COMBI system is designed for a heat load of up to 20 kW.

The collecting cabinet has a distributor connected to the node for connection of heating circuits (to the right of the COMBI node). On the supply manifold, balancing valves with a float meter are placed for coordinated operation of the turns. If there is no balancing between the loops, the liquid will pass along a short path, ignoring the long turns.

The heated liquid enters the pump-mixing unit for the warm floor VALTEC through the thermostat valve. The installation of the head of the temperature sensor allows to achieve automatic valve adjustment (opening / closing). The maintenance of the specified heating of the liquid corresponds to the set level of heating of the system "warm floor" (20-60 °).

On the return of the collector are located adjustment valves for the connection of servo drives, which allow to control the temperature regime in the rooms by means of relays. Adjustment is carried out manually with the caps included in the package.

Block Assignment

The pump-mixing unit for the system of warm floors is intended for mixing water from the radiator system with cold liquid coming from the circuits of the "warm floor" system. It is moved by means of a circulation pump. From the unit the liquid penetrates into the supply manifold and passes along the contours of the floor system. At the same time, the temperature of the liquid decreases, heating the building, and returns to the collector. From the return cold fluid passes through the node, the cycle repeats.

Temperature control

To control the temperature regime, a control valve with a thermal head is placed on the inlet part of the unit. Scheme pump-mixing unit for the warm floor indicates the presence of a remote temperature sensor, placed in front of the supply manifold. The liquid heating in the system is set manually on the thermal head scale. When the parameters are increased, the valve closes automatically into the hot coolant assembly. When the water cools, the valve opens access to the hot heat carrier. This allows to ensure a constant temperature at the output from the unit.

To adjust the design relationship between the heated and cold fluid entering the pump inlet, two manual balancing valves are provided. The pump-mixing unit for the warm floor, with its own hands installed, has a first valve on the return manifold. It allows you to adjust the volume of coolant flowing to the mixing unit. The second valve is installed at the outlet of the unit, in front of the connection pipe to the reverse contour of the radiators. It helps to adjust the volume of heated liquid entering the unit.

If the mode is set correctly, the thermostat valve assumes the middle position and affects the increase or decrease of the supply of warm water to the unit. The setting facilitates the interconnected operation of the heating circuit with other room systems. If there is no balancing of the pumping and mixing unit for the warm floor, VALTEC COMBIMIX pumps more fluid through itself than required by calculation, taking it from other systems.

The need for a thermostat

For automatic temperature control, room relays are connected to collector servo drives. While maintaining a comfortable microclimate in the room, heating is not performed, the valve is closed on the collector. If the temperature is lower than the set temperature, the thermostat supplies power to the servo drive, and the pipe opens. When the hinges are closed, the unit's bypass valve is activated, the liquid circulates through a smaller circle bypass, preventing overloading of the pump.

Principle of operation COMBI.S

To work with the weather sensor VT.K200.M a pump-mixing unit for the warm floor VALTEC COMBI.S has been developed. Instead of thermal head of the valve valve liquid, an analog servo drive is installed, operating from the controller on schedule. For external temperature conditions, the appropriate heating of the coolant is provided. This affects the rare activation of the room thermostat when opening a window or doors. The floor heating allows maintaining the exact calculated level, excluding fluctuations around the adjusted values from the maximum (with the actuator open) to a minimum. The comfort of the microclimate has a higher level.

At the COMBI.S nodes, the temperature mode of the coolant is determined by the controller according to the user-defined graph and sensor data for measuring the heating level of the liquid and air. A similar device includes a pumping and mixing unit for the Oventrop underfloor heating.

The circulation pump allows to accelerate the passage of liquid on the return. Part of it comes from the feed loop. With the return passage, the stream of cooled liquid is divided into 2 parts, approaching the pumping system and the main unit. The ratio of the flow to the pump and the supply is adjusted through the valves. If the return flow rate does not correspond to the set parameters (collector valves are closed), a bypass valve is activated, which is necessary for a constant flow of liquid circulating through the pump. External monitoring of the operation of the unit is performed by weather-compensated thermostats.

Oventrop Blocks

The system is designed for placement of low-temperature circuits for heating the room with forced circulation. The main task of the device is to add a liquid from the return flow.

Classification of nodes:

- Overflow and shut-off group ("Multiplex" FZB, VCE and VZB).

- Turntable series ("Multiblock" TF and FZB).

- Corner version of devices ("Multiblock" T, "Multiflex" F VCE and F ZBU).

- A pass-through type of devices ("Multiblock" T).

- Connecting group ("Multiflex" FZ CE, VCE and F ZBU).

The units are used in the floor heating system and in separate pumping stations Oventrop. In the first case, they are connected to a metal comb for floor heating (for example, the model Regufloor H), allowing you to combine radiator and panel heating.

For the decentralized normalization of the temperature regime in the supply circuit, the Regufloor H unit is used. Its operation ensures automatic operation in buildings up to 200 m2 and a heat energy consumption of about 75 W / m2.

The Regufloor HX series allows the separation of floor heating systems and radiator pipes via a heat exchanger. The control valve is located at the input of the primary circuit. Temperature parameters are set using submersible sensors in the secondary circuit

All the pump mixer blocks have positive feedback from consumers - both companies have been tested and meet the basic requirements for quick installation and reliable operation.
