Products that lower pressure and strengthen the vessels

As the WHO statistics show, at this stage in the world, such an ailment as high blood pressure has become very widespread . According to experts, about 10% of the planet's inhabitants suffer from this. It is clear that the reasons that determine the presence of hypertension in a person can be quite a lot. Naturally, in any case, the doctor prescribes a certain therapeutic medication course. At the same time, there is a wide range of various accompanying procedures and measures that can accelerate the recovery process, including products that lower blood pressure.

To begin with, the most serious problem in nutrition, this applies not only to the treatment and prevention of hypertension, but also to other diseases, is the culture of food consumption. This is not about etiquette, but, first of all, the number of consumed products in one sitting. There is a classic version of the definition of the volume of products, called the "palm principle". The essence of it is that at one time meat or, say, fish products should be consumed in food as much as one at a time should not exceed the size of the palm, and garnish, respectively, in two reduced hands. If it is a question of vegetables, their volume should correspond to the size of the compressed fist. In principle, while observing such proportions, special products are not needed to lower the pressure, but, unfortunately, the vast majority of us observe such norms because of their mentality.

If we talk about products that lower pressure, then, first of all, it is worth paying attention to marine products. Indeed, according to statistics, in countries where this food is consumed traditionally, for example, in Japan, there are relatively few hypertensives. Marine fish is enriched with so-called omega-3 acids, which reduce the likelihood of plaque formation in the blood, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels.

Basically, the basis for the normal well-being of a person during the whole subsequent day is certainly breakfast. For hypertensive patients, the dishes should ideally contain products that lower blood pressure. In the broadest case, even for completely healthy people, breakfast should contain whole grains. Thus, a plate of oatmeal, so much unloved, is the optimal breakfast. A certain complex of carbohydrates, which are contained in many whole grains, in combination with fiber, can provide a sense of saturation for much longer, which will reduce the temptation to once again have a snack. In addition, the fiber is able to stabilize the pressure and, most importantly, strengthen the walls of the vessels, which is especially important for hypertensive patients, reducing the likelihood of strokes.

It is not entirely true that pressure-reducing products should not contain fat. In fact, the body needs to consume a certain amount of fat a day, about 20% of all calories. The only question is what kind of fats it will be. Ideally, they should be saturated, it is they that contribute to strengthening the vessels and stabilizing the pressure, naturally, when consumed within reasonable limits.

As though some wanted, but carbohydrates are simply necessary for a person for life, the lack of them reduces efficiency, mental activity. Another issue is that the products that lower the pressure, in addition, also contain fiber, which was mentioned above. The most revealing in this respect are the dishes from legumes, which not only saturate the person, provide it with energy, but also lower the level of sugar in the blood.
