Pork roast: a recipe for a truly "masculine" dish

If you want to cook something delicious, meat and serve it to a family dinner or dinner, then the pork roast, the recipe of which is given in this article, as well as several of its variations, can be a good choice. Of course, there is no need to talk about the diet of this dish, because the meat itself is fat enough, plus fat is used during cooking. But sometimes you can forget about counting calories and treat yourself to something tasty and satisfying.

Pork roast: a recipe that is called classic

This dish is very much like classical Soviet cuisine, 30-40 years ago in any dining room you could order something like that, served with buckwheat or potatoes. Many years passed, but the recipe of relevance is not lost. The abundance of supermarkets today allows you to buy anything you like, and at any time of the year, but here is a pork roast with onions - a classic for all time. And what kind of man will refuse a good portion of meat with a simple but tasty side dish? For cooking, you will need:

- 800 grams of good, fat pork (take the brisket);
- 2 large onions;
- to taste - the classic combination of black pepper and salt as seasonings.

With a piece of pork, which should be with veined veins, remove the skin, if any, rinse and dry it with a towel. Meat should be cut, cut the fat, put it aside. Now cut the fillets into thin strips, and the fat into cubes. Reheat the frying pan well, put lard on it, sprinkle a little and fry on slow fire until it's beautiful golden color. When the fat is drowned, lay out the meat - it must immediately begin to mix, so that it "grasps", white on all sides. As soon as this stage has come, cover the frying pan with a lid and simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes. At this time, you can finely chop the onions and 10 minutes before the readiness to lay out to the meat, stir again, cover and leave on the stove. As the specified time comes out, the dish is ready. You can lay out the garnish: the classic version is mashed potatoes or well-boiled buckwheat porridge, and then served to the table. The male half of your family will definitely be delighted with this dish - tasty, caloric and with meat, that is all that is needed for a hearty dinner. By the way, pork roast, the recipe of which is given above, will also be incredibly juicy, if you add 300 grams to it. Tomato juice (or diluted tomato paste) and 100-150 grams of sour cream. Then the meat will turn out in a kind of sauce, keep in mind - these ingredients should be added 15 minutes before the readiness, that is, immediately after the onion. Serve this dish with the same side dish: homemade mashed potatoes, well-boiled porridge or, for example, with pasta.

How to make pork roast with mushrooms

This dish is very similar to the previous version, but it is prepared using champignons, and served not with potatoes, but with baked or steamed cauliflower. For several servings, take:

- a pound of pork;
- 100 gr. Champignons;
- 2 large onion bulbs (they say that the more onions, the more delicious);
- spices to taste - you can add only salt with pepper, and you can have different herbs or a special set of seasonings for stew.

The pork roast, the recipe of which we have already considered, is somewhat easier to prepare with mushrooms. You just have to cut all the ingredients in pieces, put them on a heated frying pan with a very small amount of oil (remember that the pork will be fat after the frying) and fry constantly stirring for 10-15 minutes. Then reduce the heat and bring to readiness, for this you will need another 20 minutes. Salt and pepper it is necessary at the very end of the process.
