"Motherland" in Volgograd - a monument in honor of the great battle

The monument "Motherland" in Volgograd is supposed to be, as its prototype, Izotova Valentina, a resident of this city. The monument to Motherland in Volgograd is the work of the famous Soviet master Vuyecić, who created sculptural portraits of many military leaders, as well as the song "We Shoot Swords into Plowshares" (New York) and the monument "Warrior-Winner" in Berlin's Treptow Park. The creation of the master is surrounded by five dozen projectors, the system of which was established for the opening of the monument in October 1967.
