The Loshitsky Park complex (photo below) includes a house, a water mill, outbuildings and green spaces.

According to the citizens, this place in the capital is the most peaceful and romantic.

History of creation

There are good reasons to believe that in the 10-13 centuries. On the territory of Lositsky Park there was a huge fort. Over time, it was fragmented into a number of settlements. These included Loshitsa Malaya and Loshitsa Bolshaya, Loshitsa Gornostaevskaya and others.

The manor is mentioned in documents that date from the middle of the 16th century. At that time the land was in the possession of V.Yu. Tolochinsky, who was the representative of the princely family of Drutsky. Then the property was transferred to the sons I. Gornostaya. He was the husband of the widow of Tolochinsky, Maria.

At the turn of the 17-18 centuries. The estate was bought out by the noble family of Prushinsky. Their guests were famous people. Thus, the poetry, in which the Loshitsa land and its owner are mentioned, left the descendants of V. Dunin-Martsinkevich.

The plan of the estate

The archives contained documents dating from 1772 and 1787. These are the plans of the buildings that are part of the Loshitsa park. The map prompted the researchers that the estate itself was previously located at the place where the wing was later erected.

Presumably, during its construction, the foundation was used for a minor building located in the old manor complex.

Secret

Loshitsky park in Minsk is famous for its ghost, which walks along the alleys. This legend is connected with Jadwiga Lubanska - the wife of one of the owners of the manor, Eustace Lubansky. They say that the young wife was turned over by a handsome but poor young man. On the infidelity of Yadviga on Minsk immediately rumors spread. The girl could not stand the shame and, descending the path to the river, drowned.

Eustace Lubansky was shocked by the death of his wife. On the spot where her body was later found, he planted apricots. They say that the ghost of Pani Jadwiga wanders at midnight along the alleys of the Loshitsky park. It happens in the time of flowering apricot. A ghost in white robes does not do anything wrong. Yadviga is happy to help with practical advice for those who fall in love with her.

The Soviet period

After the end of the war, the Lositsky park in Minsk was given to the state farm with the same name - "Loshitsa". This was the period of desolation of the estate. Several state farms even settled in the dilapidated wing and in the guard house. They liberated these buildings only in 1988.
