Already in 1997 he graduated from the Moscow State Technical University named after Kuibyshev with a degree in Industrial Civil Engineering. Since 1999, he took the post of Deputy Director for Finance and Economics at Glavmosstroymonolite. A few years later Vladimir Alexandrovich Voronin became the head of this company. Then he went from a vice-president to the head of the financial and economic complex in Glavmosstroy. Since 2005, together with like-minded people, he founded the company FGC "Leader". Now Voronin is its president.

Many believe that such a rapid leap in the career of the 28-year-old Voronin at that time is nothing but the patronage of his father, the owner of the construction company "Development." It was this firm that oversaw the work of Glavmosstroy at the time. Despite the fact that the company's assets were located in the hands of "Development", they were used inefficiently. And only Voronin, Jr. began to optimize this structure, turning it from loss-making to profitable.

Change of leadership in the SEC "Development"

In 2005, as a result of the raider attack, the company changed its leadership. Control went to businessman Suleiman Kerimov, and the structure was sold to the holding "Basic Element". However, despite the fact that the Voronins complained of forceful seizure, the oldest one was also accused of raiding. It was even said that the "Development" at one time for the debts was picking up all the capital contractors. As a result, the company has concentrated in its assets controlling stakes in Glavmosstroy and other companies.

After "Development"

After the father and son of Voronin lost all of the company's shares to the rivals, they withdrew from the number of influential developers in Moscow and the region. However, Vladimir Voronin said that during this period his long-time business partner, Elena Kuznetsova (former head of the Central Mortgage Company in Glavmosstroy), proposed to create a new company together. Vladimir Voronin agreed to this after all the setbacks. "Leader" after that became 10% owned by Kuznetsova, and the rest - to him and his father. This time, they took care that the company was not captured by the raiders.

How did the Leader start?

According to Vladimir Voronin himself (FGC "Leader, manager), at first the company did not have the resources to launch large construction projects. There was an opportunity only to purchase a number of sites and then independently develop them. But the developer cycle would have to be spent at least 2 years. To ensure the liquidity of the financial part and the possibility of the company's growth, its management has invested in facilities already under construction. And only then it was decided to run their own projects from scratch.

In 2006, housing prices rose sharply. Therefore, the "Leader" bought a few objects. The proceeds from the transactions were used to purchase construction sites. Among them, we can name a plot of 46 hectares on Dmitrovskoye Highway, where a Vita Verd cottage community consisting of 220 houses is now erected.

Successful projects

Another major project of the company was the construction of a residential complex "Zodiac", located next to the park "Pokrovskoe-Streshnevo" (Volokolamskoe highway). Also, the "Leader" went beyond the capital and the Moscow region. The company started implementing projects in the South of the country (Sochi and Gelendzhik). It was purchased two sites for the construction of small buildings. Also, according to Voronin, the company has invested in residential real estate in the city of Kaluga. There are investment transactions in other localities. Total portfolio of investments in construction is 25 billion rubles. At the same time, 18 of them fall on their own projects.

Not so long ago, FGC "Leader" entered into a transaction for the purchase of "Domostroitelny Combinat No. 1" (DSK-1). However, according to Vladimir Voronin, the deal for the company became unprofitable. At the same time, the "Leader" undertook obligations to regulate credit problems, taking advantage of the contract work. For DSC-1, this turned out to be additional problems. After all, as they reported recently, it was decided to reduce the company's staff by more than a quarter.

Voronin himself told journalists about this. The reason for this is the need to optimize the working project. In addition, the structure employs many people with duplicate functions. The only accountants in the DSC are 180 people. Because of this, the salary fund almost twice exceeds the permissible standards for panel construction of houses. Voronin says that even under the previous leadership of the DSC, staff reduction was planned. But only now it was possible to realize it.

Experts of the construction market, speaking about the work of Voronin and FSK "Leader", note that this is far from the volumes that belonged to "Glavmosstroy" in its time. In their opinion, today it is a medium-level developer , which is already a lot in the capital region. However, in the "Leader" ambitions are very high. Will they be realized, only time will show.
