Beautiful country in Kyrgyzstan

Residents of the republic very often call their homeland a "paradise country". And in part this is a fully justified statement. This country is known for its fertile soils, orchards, clean air and picturesque lakes. And it is 75% covered with beautiful mountains!

About 6 million people live in this country today. The largest cities of the republic are Bishkek (the capital of the state), Osh, Karakol, Tokmak and Jalal-Abad. Multinationality is another distinctive feature of the country called Kyrgyzstan. The flag of the state, by the way, takes into account this feature. Representatives of 80 different nationalities live and work in Kyrgyzstan today.

The foundation of the country's national economy is a powerful hydropower and agriculture. From the bowels of gold, mercury and uranium are mined. The country is the largest exporter of nuts in Asia and has an enormous recreational and tourist potential, which, unfortunately, is not yet being realized.

Like any other country in the world, the republic has its official state symbols. The emblem, flag, anthem of Kyrgyzstan reflect the most important natural, geographical and historical features of this country. These symbols are discussed later.

The key features of nature, history, economy and culture of the country should be reflected in its state symbols. And the Kyrgyz Republic will not be an exception to this unspoken rule.

The modern flag and the coat of arms of Kyrgyzstan were approved in 1992 and 1994 respectively. The arms of the country were developed by S. Dubanaev and A. Abdraev. And over the flag worked a whole team of authors: Zh. Mataev, M. Sydykov, S. Iptarov and others.

The national anthem was officially confirmed in December 1992. It sounds sumptuous and solemn and features an unusually beautiful text. "High mountains, valleys, fields - native, our dearest land!" - the Kyrgyz national anthem begins with such lines. Music was written by composers - K. Moldobasanov and N. Davlesov.

At the end of the last century, a huge empire collapsed - the Soviet Union. As a result, 15 new and independent states emerged on the world map. One of them was Kyrgyzstan. The flag of the young republic was approved only a year later - in 1992.

It has the form of a rectangular red cloth with a 3: 5 aspect ratio, in the center of which is placed a yellow solar disk. Inside this disk is a shanyrak - an element of a yurt that crowns its dome. The sun, depicted on the canvas of the flag, has exactly 40 rays. It is this number of tribes, according to ancient legend, founded Kyrgyzstan.

The flag of the republic is red. This is the color of courage, valor and unshakable courage. The banner of this shade was in Manas, the legendary hero of the Kirghiz epic. By the way, the flag of Kyrgyzstan could well be of a blue color. At deputies during the approval of state symbols there was a sharp dispute about this.

The solar disk on the flag of Kyrgyzstan symbolizes wealth, prosperity and peace. But shanyrak, enclosed in it - a symbol of the motherland (in the narrow sense) and the symbol of the universe in a broader interpretation.

But the flag of the Kirghiz SSR looked rather dull and inconspicuous: five symmetrically located horizontal stripes of different thicknesses and traditional Soviet paraphernalia in the upper left corner (sickle, hammer and five-pointed star).

Coat of Arms of Kyrgyzstan: description and meaning

The coat of arms is another official state symbol of the Kyrgyz Republic. It looks like a circle of blue.

There are three main elements on the arms of Kyrgyzstan. It:

• The bird gyrates with outstretched wings, embodying faith in a brighter future and striving for freedom (the same bird was a faithful companion of the Kyrgyz warrior Manas).
• Lake Issyk-Kul is one of the main natural attractions of the country (here it is also interpreted as an inexhaustible source of vitality and will).
• The mountain ridge of Teskey-Ala-Too (this element reminds that Kyrgyzstan is a beautiful mountainous country).

Above all this, the rising sun is depicted as a symbol of abundance, prosperity and eternity of being. On both sides the coat of arms is bordered by an ornament consisting of stylized wheat ears and cotton. Such an ornament reminds of the importance of agriculture in the life of the Kyrgyz people.
