Increased urination

The number of urination per day in women is determined by a number of factors, including the habit, the amount drunk, and the tone of the muscles in the bladder. Normally, in most cases, two to six calls are considered. Frequent urination rarely indicates a serious illness. Therefore, a simple, but timely treatment will eliminate an unpleasant symptom.

Frequent urination in women. Causes

In some cases, this condition is associated with diabetes. Suspicion for the development of this disease occurs in cases of allocation of unusually large volume of urine of light color against two or more of the following signs:

- weight loss;

- thirst;

- itching in the genital area;

- incomprehensible fatigue.

In this case, the specialist directs the patient to a blood and urine test. When the diagnosis is confirmed, a therapy with permanent use of drugs or lifelong injections of insulin is prescribed. In addition, a special diet with a regular and regular meal is recommended.

Rapid urination can also be associated with excessive drinking of tea, alcohol or coffee. With a decrease in the number of such liquids, as a rule, the urge becomes less frequent. However, in the absence of the effect of these measures, you should consult a doctor.

After taking certain types of medications, you may also experience frequent urination. As a rule, this happens when using medicines that prevent fluid retention in the body.

Rapid urination can be a reaction to cold weather or stress. In such cases, an unpleasant symptom passes after warming or soothing.

The occurrence of frequent urge to urinate may be a consequence of an increase in the uterus during pregnancy. It should be noted that this condition is natural and refers to the earliest signs of pregnancy. By the fourth month the symptom passes, however, by the end of the term can return again. As a rule, this is not a cause for concern, but the treating specialist should be informed about the condition. Thus, the possibility of infection will be ruled out.

The causes of frequent urination may be in the bladder weakness. In this case, as a rule, a fairly small amount of liquid is produced in the process. With an unstable (weak) bladder, even a small amount of urine provokes very strong urges. In some cases, urination may begin even before the patient reaches the toilet. Timely appeal to a specialist in this state will avoid surgical intervention. The doctor can prescribe special exercises aimed at relaxing the muscles of the bladder, as well as drugs that eliminate the influence of nerves and control the contraction of muscles.

Frequent urges are also the result of cystitis or urethritis. Inflammation of the bladder or urethra suggests the appointment of antibiotics and medications that reduce the acidity of urine.

Frequent urges may indicate the presence of the following diseases:

- Gonorrhea;

- swelling of the uterus;

- Acute (chronic) pyelonephritis.

In addition, the symptom may be a sign of bladder cancer or the presence of stones in it.

As medical practice shows, in most cases the state of frequent desires is caused by a decrease in the sensitivity threshold in the nerve endings. Located in the walls of the bladder, they are under the influence of inflammatory processes, blood flow disorders and some other conditions.

In rare cases, frequent urges are the result of incomplete emptying. In this case, the so-called residual urine is formed.
