The following recipe will be a real godsend for sweeties that are actively fighting extra pounds. The baked dessert is good because its use does not affect the figure in any way. The whole secret lies in the fact that it does not contain wheat flour. To make shortbread cookies, which caloric content is significantly reduced by using a small amount of fat, you will need:

  • One hundred and fifty grams of good margarine.
  • A tablespoon of sugar.
  • Four glasses of rye flour.
  • A quarter of a glass of milk.
  • A pair of eggs.
  • Two and a half grams of baking powder.

To taste in the dough you can add nuts or raisins, but then it will no longer be a dietary shortbread cookie. The calorie content of such a dessert will be much higher.

Process description

In one vessel, combine the softened margarine, eggs and sugar. All properly grind to homogeneity. In the resulting mass poured warm milk. There is one nuance. To reduce the caloric value of shortbread cookies, you need to use milk and margarine with a low fat content.

In the almost ready dough pour out previously sieved rye flour and baking powder. All carefully knead and clean in the refrigerator. Half an hour later, the resulting dough is rolled into a not too thin layer and figured out of it. Bake such a biscuit (shortbread), caloric content per 100 grams of which is 350-380 kcal, at one hundred and eighty degrees. As a rule, the time of stay in the oven does not exceed twenty minutes. After that, it is removed from the oven and slightly cooled. This dessert is usually served for tea, but it can be eaten with cold milk.

Option with chocolate

This recipe produces a very tasty, crumbly shortbread cookie. The calorie content of this dessert is relatively high, so they can not eat too often. For the preparation of a gentle dough, characterized by a delicate oil aroma, you will need:

  • Half a glass of powdered sugar.
  • One hundred and fifty grams of butter.
  • Yolks from two eggs.
  • Half the tiles of milk and white chocolate.
  • One and a half cup of flour.

From this simple set of components you can very quickly make an incredibly tasty shortbread cookie. The caloric content of this dessert is significantly reduced if it does not contain chocolate. But without this ingredient, the taste of the cookie will be different.

The finished dough is placed on parchment paper, flattened with palms and rolled with a rolling pin, trying to form a rectangle from it. The resulting layer is cut into strips or squares, along with the paper, put on a baking tray and sent to the oven.

Bake shortbread cookies, caloric content of 100 grams of which is 477 kcal, at two hundred degrees. In order for it to brown, ten minutes are enough. Hot biscuits are sprinkled with grated milk chocolate. Gently smear it on the entire surface of the product. Above all, sprinkle with a layer of grated white chocolate and use a conventional toothpick to draw lines. At the same time, one should try to depict an imitation of a marble ornament.

Then the dessert is left until the chocolate is completely solidified. Typically, this process takes about ten hours. If necessary, you can speed it up by placing the baking on the shelf of the refrigerator. But it is advisable to resort to such measures only in exceptional cases, since a cooled cookie loses some of its taste qualities. Also, if desired, you can reduce the energy value of the finished dessert. To do this, its surface should not be lubricated with chocolate. But without it, it will not be that dessert.
