Cavernous body. Functions of cavernous bodies

The cavernous body is the most important element involved in creating a stable erection of the genital organ, providing an increase in the size and hardening of the penis during sexual arousal. There are only three bodies: two pairs and one unpaired. In their structure they resemble a sponge, the interior of which consists of epithelial cells through which the blood vessels and nerve endings pass.

Location:

In the structure of the penis, there are two cavernous bodies that have a cylindrical shape. Fastening to the lower branches of the pubic bone is done with the help of pointed ends of each cylinder. The first cavernous body connects with the second under the pubic symphysis, while these paired formations fully fuse together.

Due to this, a depression is formed on the lower surface of the pubic symphysis, in which the cavernous bodies are located. If necessary, the cavernous body can be probed from the right and left sides inside the penis. They resemble small cylinders by their shape. The cells within them can vary considerably in size due to the infusion of blood.

Appearance

The cavernous body ends in front of the head of the penis. Above, they are covered with a white shell. It is noteworthy that it lacks muscle fibers. This structure is characteristic of the entire penis, except for the head.

The inner surface of the gallbladder shell is strewn with a multitude of trabeculae (shoots) consisting of dense connective tissue.

The tissue structure in a large number contains smooth muscle cells and elastic fibers. At the same time, they branch out and are again intertwined along the entire length of the cavernous bodies, forming a system of cells - lacunae and caverns, which fill with blood during sexual arousal.

The work of cavernous bodies

The deep artery, passing along the entire length of the penis, splits into separate branches, located in the trabeculae. It is the main supplier of blood to the genital organ when arousal occurs. If the branches are in a calm state, their shape is convoluted, as a result of which they received the name of curlica, or cochlear.

The blood vessels have thick muscular walls with a wide lumen and open directly into the cells. Due to the bundles of muscle fibers, thickening the wall of the arteries and having a smooth shape, the lumen of the vascular wall closes when cut. It should be noted that the veins passing along the penis also have a developed muscular layer.

Through which an erection is achieved

Smooth muscle cells of the arteries together with arteriol and sinusoidal capillaries perform the main role in achieving an erection, during which the dimensions of the penis significantly increase. In normal operation of the arteries passing inside and around the cavernous bodies, the member straightens, becoming much more dense in structure and completely ready for intercourse.

At the end of sexual intercourse, ending with ejaculation, norepinephrine is released, which causes the complete completion of the erection. In the event that the inflow of blood to the cavernous bodies is insufficient, the nerve endings are destroyed, which leads to a deterioration in the quality of the erection until impotence.

Training to increase the penis

Most men, having learned about the functions performed by the elements under consideration, are wondering how to increase the cavernous bodies, and develop a special method of training for penis enlargement, based on a special technique of capturing and stretching the penis.

To increase the penis, it should be tightly clasped at the base by hand, pulling as far as possible towards the head. To conduct this exercise to achieve maximum effect is necessary at least 10 times, thus accelerating cavernous bodies. The enlargement of the penis is due to the fact that the blood rushes to the head of the penis, thereby distributing the cavernous bodies to the genitals.

Despite the complete safety of this method, it is not very effective. In order to significantly compress the cavernous bodies in men along the entire length of the penis, it is necessary to exert a force much higher than the standard degree of pain threshold. It is necessary to pay attention to the fact that the cavernous bodies are adapted to increase only in the period of their growth. Consequently, an increase in the sexual organ, even with the help of prolonged physical training, can not yield a significant result.
